Who here still plays Association? Who's gotten bored/tired of it?

Me personally, I don't get bored of it. Sometimes I setup the rosters so that 1 team has all 50s and 60s overall. People like Darius Johnson Odom, Justin Harper, Hasheem Thabeet, etc. And with this roster, I try to develop the players so that they have a mid to late 80 OVR. You should try it, it's a lot of fun lol.

Something happened in my association that just led it to lose its luster. I'm just not quite sure what exactly led me to such a conclusion. Maybe it's because the Pistons just weren't a very attractive or exciting team to use. At some point early in the 2nd season, I just stopped and instead began playing with classic teams almost exclusively.

The stat glitch led me to stop playing my association, I don't know how its happening or how to get rid of it.

My favorite part of the game put it is def time for an upgrade to the mode.We've had the same setup with minor tweaks the past few years.Its time they add that big splash in association like they have with my player.Right now association seems to be pretty far down on their priority list though.

Isn't it inevitable ? Before online, teammup and crew, I played association almost exclusively. After playing online, it's hard to go back to the cpu which gets kinda static and repetitive - online (especially Crew) is dynamic as it gets.

I'm only getting bored of it because I literally can't win a game. This game is incredibly frustrating and I'm losing all incentive to continue playing.

I'm tired of 2K12 Association. Once I progress past the first season there are too many blank silhouettes and art faces.

It really detracts from realism when you can't put a face to player...

In times like this especially in the off-season this is when I start to create All-Star/USA/FIBA rosters. Or I just go to playing FIFA.

I actually JUST started one in 2k11(updated rosters) last night with the Clippers. I was able to trade for Tyreke Evans and DeMar Derozan easily. The Hawks also proposed a trade that got me Zaza Pachulia.
Starting lineup:
PG: Chris Paul
SG: Tyreke Evans
SF: DeMar DeRozan
PF: Blake Griffin
C: DeAndre Jordan

well there's still plenty of options to try out...

- Putting the difficulty on rookie or pro
- Changing the sliders to suit you better
- Online 1vs 1
- Online Teamup
- Training tutorial -- master all moves
- Watch gameplay tips on youtube

For myself, I can play teamup endlessly online. It's the opposite of boredom and multiplayer is one of the most addictive modes, especially if your teammates know what they're doing.

the glitch where player around the league were averaging crazy numbers like 100+ ppg with 70 boards and 20 ast, while playing 100+ games in a single season. I don't know what was causing it and I'm not sure if it was in 2k11 or not.
