Adding dreads

I'm trying to put dreads on Nebraska's running back Ameer Abdullah. Can someone please let me know how to do this? Thanks!!!

You will have to change his height or skin tone. Certain skin tones when combined with a certain height will not produce the dreads hair style. Its really dumb.

in last years game i did find a way to add dreads to any player without messing with his height or weight idk if it works in 13 but its worth a try here what to do first find a player on ur team with the face that has dreads that u want then right down all the rating info every thing about that player do the same for the player u are adding dreads for then just swap the 2 players position # and all their info. it worked in 12 i could change the player with the dreads height and weight since he already had them by defult and the didnt dissipear

its alot to do but its worth a shot hope this helps

you'll have to change his height/weight to get the right player model but once you select the player model with the dreads you can change his height/weight back to what it should be and the player model should stay the same.

Still can't get it. He is a 5' 9" 185 RB. Whenever I change the ht/wt it automatically changes the player models no matter what. You would think they'd have a small size guy be able to wear dreads. I can't figure it out. Anyone who knows of any ht/wt combos that work for a smaller guy please let me know. Thanks!

Denard Robinson is another guy that needs to have dreads added on as well.

I gave Denard Robinson dreads but as soon as you lower height or weight back to what its supposed to be his dreads go away.

I just changed his skin to medium and gave him the only face (forgot which one it was) that had dreads for that. Still think it works pretty well...better than changing his weight to 215+ just to get the dreads.

Bump him up to 6'2 and use Dark #24

Wouldn't it just be a lot simpler to have a "dreads/no dreads" option? I love the NCAA series just as much as the next guy, but the game has certain querks about it that are really annoying. Why wouldn't they just give Denard Robinson dreads to begin with? He's the first guy I would think of to give dreads to.

For Denard, I bumped his weight up from 195 to 216, then changed his face to dark 24 I'm pretty sure.

It's either that or keep the proper weight and have him dark skinned without dreads or have him medium skinned (he is pretty dark), with dreads (face 6) and the proper weight. I think the extra weight is worth it... Take the flak jacket off and you can't even tell the difference.

For any other player with dreads that doesn't have them, do something along the same lines as this. You can also bump up the guy's height but height is much more noticeable.

I just added dreads to Sammy Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins as well. Dark #24 is the correct combo. I can't comment on whether or not the dreads will actually show up in game yet, because i haven't played a game b/c i'm still working on my roster.
