Fired after 1 year, all Goals met.

I was just fired as the UTSA OC after 1 year despite them going 10-3. I met 4 goals with 4 goals pending (all easily obtainable next year) and 0 goals failed. Somehow I got 24% job security.... The only thing I can figure is that I got hammered for my 3 losses because they were "lower ranked" teams despite them all being in the high C's while I dwell in the land of the D's. Lame

Well apparently showering with little boys you coach is illegal too... Might've had something to do with it. :wink:

haha i was gonna post a Sandusky related joke but at the last minute held off because i didn't know if it'd be in good taste. Glad to see i wasn't the only one with that mindset.

See my thread on the coaching carousel. Also, see my blog about the carousel. Contracts are messed up and unrealistic. Goals are good to have for evaluation purposes but one thing should trump all goals; wins. And that you have. A school shouldn't be able to touch you if you win a bunch of games, especially at a place that isn't used to winning.

I should have figured that would be the response I would get, I didnt really ask a question with my whining. I mainly was curious if this had happened to anyone else or maybe recruiting could have effected it. I simmed recruiting since I didnt expect to be there for more than 2 seasons. I doubted that could have caused it though since none of my goals were tied to it

i was rehired at Vandy as OC and I only won I think 5 games.

I obviously wouldnt expect you to know why exactly I was fired, merely if anyone had any similar experiences. I am not attacking EA, just didnt know if someone could provide better insight as to what could have happened.
