Injuries in this game are just as bad as they were in NCAA 12

In my online dynasty Week 3: (Playing as Wisconsin)

Week 1: Montee Ball goes out for the game in the 1st quarter, okay no big deal
Still first game: Backup RB goes out for season (88 injury) with a broken vertebrae, finish game with 3rd string back

    Week 2: Few minor injuries

Weeks 3: Montee Ball out 7 weeks (84 Injury) with a torn pectoral

Now I have 2 RB's for 7 weeks and they're both Freshman. Last year I had the same problems with injuries EVERY GAME it seemed like to star players.

Ridiculous. Same problems as last year smh

My star RB on my EKU team didn't go a game without getting injured in his senior year, crazy how many injuries occur

More interesting is the fact that lineman and LB never get injured. If you reset injuries to 30 for those players they get hurt but otherwise they aren't injured all season. EA has done a terrible job for as long as I can remember with penalties and injuries.

I like the consistency with the holding calls this year if it's around the 53/54 range

I'm gonna have to turn injuries off (again this year) in my offline dynasty until this is patched (Which they didn't do last year)

2006 Wake Forest lost their starting QB and first, second and third string running backs in the first two games and were forced to start a WR at RB for the remainder of the year. They responded by going to the Orange Bowl and having the best season in school history. Injuries happen. Recruit depth.

I'm not seeing this at all. Week 7 in my UNLV dynasty and I have had no major injuries (Occasional times where a player misses a few quarters, but that's it. 1 Time my 2nd String RB was out for the entire game, but that's the worst I've gotten). Am I the minority here?

What is the complaint here? That injuries happen.

                Auburn vs Alabama

Eddie Lacey hurt for 3 weeks

I swear every game I play my RB gets hurt

OP has a legit point about injuries man. His experience isn't realistic at all. Every time I play a game my running back and/or my best receiver gets injured and is out for the rest of the game. That shouldn't happen every game.

yes injuries happen, but not as frequent as they seem to happen, everytime I give the ball to my HB I have to worry if he is going to get hurt. Because it seems like he does, even on the smallest hits, he gets down for the game/qtr/etc.

Injury frequency in this game is nothing compared to real life. And players get hurt on non contact or minor contact plays all the time.

I think it varies, depending on the player's injury rating.

In my Arkansas State dynasty, my starting quarterback Aplin goes down with some sort of injury each game. I'm 5 games into the season and I've seen anything from a dislocated elbow to a strained pectoral muscle. In my last game, I thought I was going to get through without one, but he suffered hip bursitis in the fourth quarter.

My starting running back has went down almost every game, except for the last. He spent three weeks on the DL for bursitus, but it was in his shoulder.

I'm chalking it up to the fact that I run a spread/read option offense and the quarterback does take some punishment. It would be nice to get through a game without having to put in the backup, though.

Luckily, my backup quarterback can run the offense just as effectively. I had both of them go down for a few quarters, in the second game of the season against Nebraska. I was tied 21-21 with Nebraska, in Lincoln and I thought I had a legit shot at an upset. The third string has to come in and on the next play floats one too far and it's intercepted and returned for six to seal the game.

It's hard for me to complain, because I enjoy seeing the injuries, but sometimes it IS overblown a bit.. I guess I just have to take the good with the bad. After all, I am playing with Arkansas State.. 2-3 after 5 weeks

                            Game 2 Play now

                            Bama vs Arkansas

Lacey goes out for 2 quarters

Knile Davis gets knocked out, comes back in. Get injured for the game.

Seriously about to turn injuries off. I guess the silver lining is last year it seemed to be QB AND RB getting injured every game. Now it's just the RB

Yes, injuries do happen a little too frequently, and my main issue is that it doesn't make sense. I have had a QB get hurt on a play where he only handed the ball off. Didn't get hit afterward at all, just wasn't in the game the next play and found out he broke his leg afterward somehow.
