There has to be a better way to do rosters

Just an idea wondering what you guys think...
The way rosters are done now is just way more difficult then it needs to be and I wish EA would make an effort to fix it. I wish they would do something like have a online database with all the rosters in a format just like in game... think in terms of like teambuilder where you can log in on your computer and download the default rosters and make all your edits on your pc. So the idea is EA could release the rosters once they are finalized during game development then we could download them make all our edits and save to your EA locker. It would make things way easier so that the people who are doing them like these guys could all work on rosters at the same time, save as they progress and then download from each other all the updates. This would also allow other people to download these rosters as they progress if they wanted to, the edits would be faster and way more productive and there is a possibility that all the rosters could be done before the game even hits store shelves, and have current accurate rosters with the communities effort so we dont all have to wait around. Probly never happen thought it makes too much sense.

Would be convenient if it could be done in a spreadsheet.

I thought about this issue as well. My solution would be the ability to edit and upload an individual teams roster by its self then allow the community to browse each teams rosters and pick the best ones for each and download them. You could then allow the community to give them ratings so everyone knows which rosters are best for each team.

I agree, it's a matter of time before they take away being able to share rosters with EA locker, or a memory unit. This would eliminate people being able to make money from rosters.

Making a small donation to people for taking the time to do these rosters is fine, but charging 24.97 is what will lead to this feature being disabled. If EA is hard up about the resell of used games (online pass) I'm sure they hate people making money selling rosters.

I can't believe people are stupid enough to buy a roster, especially for anything more than $5. All it takes is one person to ruin it for everybody.

I think the bigger issue is that making it too easy to name rosters will lead to EA losing a lawsuit. I doubt they care all that much about people selling rosters.

Just wondering where did you hear this?

I find it hard to believe the NCAA does not already know roster share is available and what it is.
