Twas the Day of the Rosters

Twas the day of the rosters, when all through the game,
The future coaches were stirring, screaming Carsons name.
The names and edits were assigned by the fans with care,
In hopes that all of the dreadlocks would not be there.

The fans are hyped, frequently refreshing the page,
With visions of no Isaiah Crowell, which caused so much rage.
And your xbox live friend Pat, along with your cousin Marty,
Annoying you by joining your xbox live party,
It's not their fault they didn't want to be tardy.

When viewing the football forum, I noticed rosters had so many current views.
I clicked very quickly, as I grabbed some booze.
Looking at the computer, starring starry eyed,
I saw a new post, with many replies.

The text of the gamertags, of the new post.
Made the creators well deserved, a toast.
When what to my BC Vision appeared,
This is actually it, the rosters are here!

With a couple of guys, so awesome and cool,
Anyone who complained at them, is clowned as a fool.
Faster than the wide outs, everyone came.
To celebrate the rosters, and to scream their names.

After noticing how long this poem actually goes,
I think i'll just run through it fast like a doe.
I just wanted to say thanks to Carson and his gang,
Please ignore the trolls, and keep doing your thing!

Playing a game where players are simply called by their numbers has the feel of a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Totally agree with you. I am in a online dynasty right now with a different set of rosters, and I have like 6 INTS with a guy who is already graduated, and he didn't even play defense, he played WR. I love these rosters because they are always spot on and never fail to disappoint, without them I guess I would just reedit only WVU, and that would suck.

Agreed, and any excuse to quote Shakespeare is a good one. I like your poem very much. Can you come up with a Limerick and/or a Haiku? If I'm bored I'll try to put together a passable sonnet.
