Raw 07/30/12 - Local man ruins everything

John Cena became the first man to cash-in MitB and not win the title so CM Punk is still your champion. Of course their match was ruined by Big Show who just likes to mess things up at this point...

Post match CM Punk put The Rock to sleep. Of course The Rock only shows up once every 2-3 months (yet is still granted a title shot while someone busts their *** taking huge bumps at TLC and won't get a rematch) so it'll be a while before there's consequences and repercussions. On Twitter Kevin Nash said the nWo would return but they only come in take over mode and they've got Punk's back.

Of course this means Punk needs a Summerslam oppoent. I guess that'll be up to the new crazy raggamuffin GM. Maybe she'll give Bryan a shot after she denied him last week. Gotta get something for that right? It's better than a Charlie Sheen feud anyway.

The Miz became IC champ last week,Christian used his rematch clause on SD so a new contender is in order.

Damien Sandow was on the reciving end of DX shenanigans but they're all retired-ish so they'll likely get away with it. Perhaps Sandow will interject himself into the Lesnar/HHH feud to teach that ignoramus a lesson.

ADR is getting himself another shot at Sheamus...even though no one cared the first time and the match was horrible. Still built on nothing. But at least Ziggler can cash-in between now and then and hopefully get a change in the match.

The most intresting tag team is on NXT so I guess there's still nothing going on there.

Most intresting divas also on NXT and they're barely on Raw anymore anyway.

Maybe Santino will actually defend his US Title. Maybe he'll lose and the person that wins can bring it back to respectability and actually defend it and stuff.

Heath Slater thinks his beatings are over and claims to be the legend killer...

    They really need secondary feuds.

Remember the show is 3 hours now and still 75 minutes behind in Canada.

Re: Raw 07/30/12 - Local man ruins everything

I think I'm actually looking forward to this Raw more than Raw 1000, as crazy as that sounds.

I just can't wait to (hopefully) hear Punk go off. He was decent as a face but was starting to get stale and directionless, which was the complete opposite of what he was at this time last year and also not what I had expected him to become after re-signing.

Now it makes so much more sense why Cena and his over-the-top clown matches/storylines were being put above Punk and the WWE title. You gotta think Punk is going to go off about that, among other things, as to why he turned last week.

I can't wait. The Rock and a heel CM Punk are really only the two things that get the wrestling nerd in me going at this point.

Plus, you know, Punk and his opponents made mention of this a couple times.

HHH returns to his blueblood roots and forms a tag team with Sandow after losing to Lesnar.

He'll probably also be pissed that Rock gets a title shot for no reason other than being The Rock. It was a good time to turn him heel.

Unrelated to the bold, wonder what they do with Orton? Before suspension, it was going to be him and Ziggler probably. He went after Miz as well. Neither of them are really in the position to go after him at the moment. Does he come back and knock ADR out of the WH Title picture?

Unless I get Orton v. Ziggler (cashes in), soon, I don't want Orton anywhere around the WH Title, if it means putting Zigs on the backburner.

Then again, I'd prefer Sheamus and Orton than ADR again.

New title reveal anyone? That ****y joke that represents Cena surely must go with Punk turning. At least I hope.

Was Orton written off of TV with an injury angle to cover his suspension or was it just never mentioned why he's been gone. I honestly can't remember.

Last time we saw Orton, he was celebrating on top of a turnbuckle after RKOing Miz. Then it cut to Ziggler in the back saying that should be him. getting all that glory to Vicky. Coincidentally, that was the same time Miz disappeared to film that movie.

I'm with you though, legend. I honestly just don't know what he could do right now.

Unrelated, I miss the Barrett Barrage and the Hall of Pain.

Granted, I really really dislike Orton. The thing is, I'd rather see Orton - Sheamus or Orton - ADR. Mainly due to the fact that the ADR-Sheamus matchup is so underwhelming that it couldn't really be any worse. At least with Orton there, the crowd would care about the match.

Re: Raw 07/30/12 - Local man ruins everything

i'm glad Punk is a heel once again. Cena is the most boring wrestler and it's so annoying watching him win the big matches all the time. I've never been a Cena fan, he just looks like a tool. The guy wrestles in jean shorts, he just looks stupid.

Punk vs Rock is what people want to see, i don't need to watch The Rock vs Cena again. I just hope come Wrestlemania next year CM Punk is holding the title at the time and they give us CM Punk vs Stone Cold since i've heard rumors about them wanting Austin for Wrestlemania.

As for Dolph, i'm glad he's getting a push. Someone needs to take the belt away from Sheamus, he's another bore. He sounds stupid when he talks because of the thick accent and there's nothing really about him that's interesting or makes you care where his character is going. Del Rio is alright, he's a good wrestler but he's not that interesting and Ricardo so annoying.

At this point Jericho is pretty much the guy that puts others over the edge, he's just not main event material right now but he's a good enough name and good enough on the mic to push a guy like Ziggler and help him get better on the mic.

Then when Orton comes back we can get a little Orton vs Ziggler. That's much better than Sheamus vs anybody. I thought maybe Daniel Bryan would get a turn as a face because of the reaction he gets from fans. When i was at No Way Out the crowd was going crazy with "YES!" chants before the event even started. The whole arena was just going crazy yelling "YES!" and anytime they showed him the place erupted, especially when he came to the ring. He got one of the loudest ovations of the night. But it appears he's going to still be a heel. I though maybe with The Rock returning they might have Bryan go after the other title but who knows what he's going to do now, he's kind of in no man's land and doesn't appear to be getting a Championship belt anytime soon with Cena, Big Show, Punk & Rock on one side and Sheamus, Del Rio, Jericho, Ziggler and Orton waiting to come back on the other side.

The whole AJ thing has gotten old. They gave her a push and it was ok for a few moments but having her as the GM of Raw means she's going to be in the middle of things and she's really boring to listen to especially because she takes so long with her pauses and crazy faces and she rarely has anything interesting to say. Plus she was one of the better Divas in terms of in ring ability.

Another guy who's getting annoying is The Big Show. He's a bad watch when he wrestles because his moveset and his opponent's movesets are so limited because of his size.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Lesnar after his feud with Triple H is over. Does he get a push at the title? Hard to imagine him not being in a feud with one of the headliners. His problem is guys like Punk, Cena & Rock would just make him look stupid on the mic with their mic skills and his lack of.

                        Can't wait for Raw tomorrow.

This is honestly the only reason I suggested it. Could also be a way to turn Orton or Sheamus heel as well if they were to face off. Loser could get pissed afterwards and beatdown the winner. And then

Ziggler has been pushed as the most sorry excuse for a MitB winner yet. All he had done before MitB was get squashed all he has done since is get squashed. He needs to start piling up some wins over some quality opponents.
