Good luck. Yeah, you'd have to kidnap someone at Rogers to get them to spend money on the team.

Wow, a Hurst appearance! I'm honored haha. I hope you enjoy, and that my dynasty will be half as good as yours!

For those wondering, Ted Rogers III is the son of (EPIC) former Blue Jays owner Ted Rogers II. *foreshadow*

To kick off ST, Ricky gave up an RBI triple. Whoops.

Now, let's take a moment to welcome back to the mound, an amazing pitcher, Brandon Webb, making a comeback! His velocity is about 5 MPH down, though.

However, things didn't go so smoothly, as Webb would go on to give up a two-run homer on a hanging curve to Gaby Sanchez. Obviously, Webb will be a reclamation project. Steve Delabar, the power arm who was teaching kids before the M's signed him and traded him to the Jays, came on in relief.

Aaron Loup would come on in and promptly give up 3 more ERs before handing things over to David Carpenter. Yes, I'm this bad even on Veteran.

Anthony Gose would finally get our first run in of the ball game, with a suicide squeeze on a double steal. He beat it out, too. Kid can straight up fly.

After Aideny Hechavarria was called out being picked off, which he wasn't, Gose promptly stole second like a complete boss.

Travis Snider would troll us extra hard, driving in a run in the top of the ninth to make it 7-1. Yeah, we traded you. Don't need to be so mean about it.

Edwin Encarnacion would score after tripling on an RBI Sac Fly, before Travis Snider, of course, would rob Aideny Hechavarria of a double to end the ballgame. Final score- Pirates 7, Blue Jays 2.

We are here today to commemorate the wondrous life of the amazing Ted Rogers II, beloved by all. He was an amazing man, and was very successful in many business ventures. He will be dearly missed.
Ted's father's death haunted him every day. His role model, the man he looked up to, his heir! Any day now, he thought, Rogers would be transferred over to him, and he could make his father proud. Actually, now that he thought about it, the transaction should be completed fairly soon. He should go check with Nadir Mohammed, the interim head of Rogers, to see how that was going. He picked up the phone to call him.

Hello?

Nadir, it's Ted. When Rogers be transferred to me, again?
Quote:

Ugh, Ted.... It'll be given to you.... soon. Soon.

Good to hear- hello? Hello?!?!
*dial tone*

That SOB hung up on me.... but why?

If someone could tell me how to make it so that I can show who's being quoted in what, that'd be great.

Also, Anthony Gose has surprisingly broke camp with the Blue Jays, hitting over .300 in ST.

35, if you're reading this, who's looking better now? Webb, or Bonderman? :smirk:

Webb had all camp to get ready, Bonderman had 3 days...we'll see who's better in time AC. Bondo is 2 years younger than Webb so he has some prime left in him yet.
