Only hitting or fielding during a game

Im pretty sure I saw somewhere that some guys during their games could do either hitting or just fielding. I was wondering how to accomplish this feat. Would make games go by a little quicker. Might be able to finish a 162 game season a bit quicker.

    Thanks

Press Pause, then select the Fast Forward option. Choose to fast forward to the next half inning.

Say you want to hit only. After you hit into your third out, let the inning flip, then opt to do this, and voila! You are now in your next offensive inning.

User settings -> Mode specific -> Fielding opportunities -> Off

That way you'll only hit, however, I don't know if you'll be able to get training points for putouts/assists on defense.
