If I leave any mark on OS it will be this: I started the Official Chelsea FC Thread for my beloved Blues!

I am a lifelong Chelsea FC fan inheriting the club from dad's side of the family as a young boy. I won't be responsible for updating all things Chelsea FC news here though I sincerely hope I can discuss my beloved team with some like minded football fans.

Next game: FA Community Shield vs Manchester City at Villa Park - SUN 12th August 2012.

Hearing the Azpilicueta deal could be wrapping up soon and make of it what you will be we look to be getting close to an agreed fee for Cavani.

They're wanting to cash in on him now and are said to be willing to accept around 35-40, still a bit high but Chelsea have already bid 30 mil.

As it stands with the current players you have, what do you see as your starting eleven? It will be interesting to see where E Hazard and Oscar fit in.

Zenit have offered 40 mil + Bruno Alves (who I'm hearing might turn around and go to Althetico, but thats just talk) and Chelsea have said no to the ridiculous demands from Porto

As it stands with the current players you have, what do you see as your starting eleven? It will be interesting to see where E Hazard and Oscar fit in.

Most likely:

-LW-Hazard----RW/AMF-Mata
Lampard --------- Ramires
-------Mikel------
Cole--Terry---Cahill---Ivanovic
---------Cech------

Sturridge will likely be an impact sub unless Torres' struggles from last 1.5yrs continue. Marin will also be used off the bench, probably for Mata who rarely plays the entire 90. Oscar will spell Lampard and should get some starts to keep Lamps fresh since he's getting up there. Essien & Romeu will get minutes at Mikel's DMF position. Malouda & McEachren are probably the odd men out with Josh potentially going out on loan again, hopefully to a low table squad. Not sure what they will do with Piazon.

Luiz will probably rotate with Cahill depending on the competition but with JT looking to miss time from suspension he could start immediately if the FA punishes JT. We still need another RB and I'd imagine that Betrand will play a lot in the FA, Carling, and the occasional BPL match vs lesser sides.

If #9 can't get going with Mata, Hazard, Marin, and Oscar playing behind him than he's truly useless.
