Not that I have anything against the Lakers. I mean they are my favorite team, but I doubt online will be any variety. Everyone will pick Lakers, Heat, and Thunder....

Lakers, Heat and Thunder are popular and most likely the 3 highest rated teams in the league and people play games to win so it's an easy choice if you're a fan of those sides to play as them.

I'm a Portland fan and i play as them if i ever play the 5v5 game.

I think your beef is with how people use the teams eg/exploits. I'm a sim man myself (along with most here by the looks of it) so beating those players who use the best teams in an exploit fashion are rewarding to beat, you don't need to be a bum to enjoy using those three sides.

If you like centers who can't score unless they dunk, and undersized power forwards who can barely change direction or jump, the Bulls are a good choice for you. :wink:

I'm a former new jersey nets fan, and this has been the best sports related news this year so far. I was really hoping that Brooklyn team didn't get Dwight and now I can serve out my own poetic justice with this laker team.

I think i can actually count on my hand how many times i played against the Lakers online this year. Most of the time it was the Heat, Thunder, and Knicks. I usually can play with most teams depending on the matchup, but my Lakers are still gonna be my main team against suspected Heat and Thunder cheesers.
