Raw 08/13/12 - Really big show! Really? Big Show?

Last year's Summerslam main event was CM Punk vs. John Cena with interference from a well past his prime 7 footer who has no bussiness near the main event. This year's Summerslam main event is CM Punk vs. John Cena with interference from a well past his prime 7 footer who has no bussiness near the main event. We've come so far! I can only guess Cena gets the best of the shenanigans this week.

For the second time ADR vs. Sheamus for the World Championship has been cancelled. When they actually had the match despite a decent effort from both,it sucked so I doubt anyone is too upset about it. Randy Orton stated on twitter he won't be working Summerslam (nor should he after his drug violation) so that leaves a mystery contender. Though that scofflaw Sheamus should be arrested and forced to vacate the title as he wouldn't be able to defend it within 30 days.

Catchy song that one...don't think it has much to do with Raw but you guys don't mind right?

It appears Ryback has moved on from squashes to an actual feud with Jinder Mahal. Jinder was quite impressive in his NXT title tourny match last week. For all those that wanted KotR back, there's a tourny for you and it's for an actual title instead of just a shot. How about that!

More whacky and mentally challening antics from Kane,AJ and Bryan.

Ziggler vs. Jericho is on for Summerslam. No doubt it should match of the night and a match of the year contender. Probably be involved in some sort of tag match. Ziggler & Bryan vs. Kane & Jericho?

HBK said he'll be there despite threat from [heyman] Brrrrrooooccckkkk Leeessnnaarr [/heyman] which surely means he'll get a F5. Show likely ends with HHH sobbing over a bloodied HBK in the parking lot.

The IC,US and Diva's champs are all without contenders or matches for Summerslam. Antonio Cesaro appeared primed for a US title shot but lost to Christian on SD. (But wins and losses don't matter so it shouldn't affect his status right!?) Remember that time the IC title match main evented?

Damien Sandow continues to try to bring culture and class to the WWE. That ignoramus Brodus Clay best stay out of it this time lest he be on the receiving end of more fisticuffs and a lambasting.

The Prime Time Players and Epico & Primo are now both without their managers in their quest for the tag titles. Kofi & Truth now have an unfair advantage as their manager is still there to accompany them though is still recovering from the beating Daniel Bryan gave him a while ago. Should be a #1 contender match or offical announcment of a triple threat on Raw but either way there'll be no shoe throwing on Raw this week.

Oh I almost forgot. Your social media ambassador this week is...umm...one of those Jersery Shore douchebags. But he won't actually be there so don't expect any awesomeness with Zack Ryder.

I think you guys rag on Big Show too much. I think this is probably his last run. He is 40. This is probably his last run and retirement could be around the corner. Then you'll never have to see him again.

I liked the Big Show, back when he was believable. Not this all of a sudden I can destroy everyone with one punch thing, etc.

Last time I really liked Big Show was his run in ECW in 2006.

Since then, I don't mind him as someone's lacky(his teams with Jericho & Miz come to mind) or as the happy-go-lucky Big Show...but his "monster" pushes on Raw are just too hard to buy given how many times he's jobbed to Cena.
