to return or not to return NCAA dilemma. help?

i am curious what you all would think. i have the game on my counter in the packaging. i can return it for store credit or my money back. i have heard a lot of things that are wrong with the game (bugs, glitches, the new no huddle issue, the safety ai) but im curious should i open it and play it and do my best to enjoy it with sliders and fixes, or should i simply return it and put money towards madden, or conserve altogether. im sorry this is a lame question to ask the community, but i figured you all are best to answer it. i simply can't decide. i love ncaa, and play offline dynasty, but last years was the first one i couldn't get into. what are your thoughts, and please only helpful comments.

I think Dynasty> Franchise.

But NCAA has way too many issues. Fight Night Champion & NCAA 13 are the same. They both applied so many band-aids that they forgot to cure the underlying disease. Bring on Madden and hopefully EA won't patch it to death.

do you think playing it without the patches is bearable?

Pick your poison. It was patched because it had legitimate issues. Unfortunately the update added new issues. You simply have to decide which is less annoying.

I personally like it better w/o any patches or tuners.

My vote is Keep it. :)

I'm already bored with NCAA 13. It's basically the same game as last year. A few much needed additions, but still a lot of the same issues that have been there for years. It's not worth the headache IMO.

i opened it. i played through the first week as syracuse with some sliders posted in the sliders section. overall im satisfied with the first game played, i lost to northwestern. which syracuse should do. but the no huddle is annoying, and i scored on some long passing plays so i can see the problems. the sliders offset them a little bit but ill have to tweak them more. either way, i think i can find happiness with the recruiting and possibly siming a dynasty, i love the scouting system (even though it might not matter.) it has been good fun so far. thanks for all your votes, and input.
