I cannot win a face-off in the NHL 13 demo.

Mods, you better not close this topic, this has nothing to do with demo impressions.

I've never had problem winning face-offs in NHL games until this demo. I've won probably 5 out of the 50 face-offs I experience today checking out the demo, it's getting very frustrating.

I cycled through trying to switch hands, trying to tie the person across from me, nothing is working.

They changed face-offs but I can't figure out how the new system they put in works.

lol, how does this have nothing to do with demo impressions???

An impression you took from the demo is that it's hard to win faceoffs.

I am loving the demo. the real time cut scenes have made a big difference in my opinion

I'm in the same boat as the OP, how the heck do you win a face off?

Faceoff difficulty is almost max on the sliders

Nothing has changed in the faceoff system that I can tell. It seems identical to me. And I've played center almost exclusively online for a few years now.

For tips on winning draws, see the faceoff guide:

Yeah the faceoff system seems to be just like last year.....maybe a little better.....somehow?

You really have to watch when the puck drops before you go for it, which is a good thing. ;)
