You have all the heavyweights beating each other. Meanwhile you have a team with a weak scheduel in a 4 team weak conference going undefeated.


What if you have a nice balance of having 4 power house teams and 4 jobber teams in a conference? That way (in theory), it keeps teams like UL Lafayette, Ohio, and Arkansas State out of the title picture.

I did this once on NCAA 12 and some small school went undefeated but they played 3 league games, 1 non league FBS team and 8 FCS games. I bet if you look at their schedule they will have a lot of FCS teams on it.

With 4 team conferences they play lots of FCS games (usually 5-6) which, even for them, are usually automatic wins. Add to that 3 conference game against almost certainly terrible teams and that means that 1 of those teams (the one undefeated in conference) will have about 9 automatic wins.

My dynasty in year 5 had Temple and Troy at 2 and 3 in the MAC and Sun Belt respectively. I made some modifications but the MAC was mostly intact (and at 13 teams) and the SB still had 8 teams.

It was sort of alright but Temple making the NT game with one win over a ranked (Northen Illinois) team and leaving out a one loss Texas team with 3 top 25 wins (1 top 10, one top 15) and a loss to another top 10 team was puzzling.

Only thing is Texas' loss came late (week 14) and Temple actually played a decent OOC even though the teams weren't ranked, while Texas played basically nobody OOC. Was weird seeing a B- team in the NT game though.

i MADE THE bIG 12 HAVE ALL TEXZAS TEAMS SANS SMU, TECH, AND A AND M, AND I THINK NORTH TEXAS. ONE CONEFRNCE IS TEAS, THE OTHER IS WORLD.
