Calvin Johnson does not go by Calvin Johnson Jr.

This is basically the same issue as all of those equipment threads. Never has Calvin Johnson gone by Jr. His jerseys have never said it and in real life nobody calls him that.

This bothers me more than the color of some players visor being different or the face mask being wrong.

his legal name is Johnson Jr. whether he goes by it or not, that is his legal name so that is what Madden has to put in the game

Why do they "HAVE TO" put that there? The NFL doesn't "HAVE TO" put that on the jerseys. They don't "HAVE TO" put that on the websites. I don't get it.

Not true. In a week 8 or so roster update in Madden 10, they changed Chad Johnson to Ochocinco. It was re-edited before the final update of the year.
