    *Spoilers* Draft Studs

Just had my first draft class and I loved it!

Spoilers below, please post your draft picks too.

    I had 3 1st round picks #1, #14, #22

With the top pick I took a 20 year-old WR named Tyrell Prendergast who is a true stud (Megatron with quickness) 6'4 230lbs, 87 overall

#14 I took a risk on a falling QB named Daniel Romeo, 6'3 240lbs with a cannon arm. 77 overall

    #22 I took a TE Brandon Boss, he's a tremendous receiving TE 86 overall

86 and 87 ROOKIES and those are just the ones you picked??? Sounds like we are going to have A LOT of 99 rated players a few years in. This really sucks.

You should check out the topic about connected careers after year 1. It actually demonstrates that this is not what happens at all.

The thing about this is that it in my CC one of these studs may be an 87 and Rookie of the Year, where in yours he could tear his ACL, fall into the 5th round and never amount to much.

Sure draft classes are random? I believe it's the story lines that are random. I've seen those same guys in my draft.

And as stated by EA they may be in there but might not be a stud. They showed an example of a guy that was awesome in college and won the Heisman. The repeated the same year and had the same player. During college he lost a big game and went into a downhill slide. Didn't win the Heisman and had a horrible combine.

So in other words you can't spoil draft picks.

I should have specified, these three guys all have story lines.

Also I have zero problems with 87 rated rookies, the WR is a freak like Randy Moss.

We also need to take into account that the high OVR ratings may be a result of the player fitting perfectly into your scheme.

The problem is there are 6-7 freaks just like him in every draft.

I really don't think you have seen what it takes to level someone up XP wise...

Don't forget that the OVR is dependant largely on the scheme a team runs.

I have rushed for 250 yds and 2 TDs with Trent Richardson in the first two games of the season and he has around 10,000 XP... Sounds like a lot but when that is put into perspective with what it takes to level up... bah - nothing.

To get someone (even an 86 OVR player) up to the 'oh-so-cherished.... yet despised' 99 OVR you will have to play for multiple seasons and hope to god that the player doesn't get hurt.

Actually, rookies barely progress at all according to people deep into CCM. By 2020 the top players are all players that are currently in the NFL.

That's right, Rodgers, Forte, MJD....all still on top.

                          Pretty messed up.

So only rookies with branching storylines vary? All the other players we can just look it up and know what we get?

I've only had one draft class I didn't know. Having a "Moss" in every draft isn't cool
