NO Auto-pass in or coach mode, what a joke!

I'm going to keep posting this, I know OS thinks they can delete what they don't want posted. EA has screwed up and is so full of it!!!
Totally mislead everyone,cant wait for the excuses to begin.... What lie are they gonna tell us now. I'm sure the powers that be will delete this before it gets read, I will just re post and continue to blast EA for the incompetence...

All we want is atleast autothrow in CC, who in the you know what needs it in exhibition mode, how insane and you know what backwards is that!!

Some users prefer a true coach mode where games aren't decided by how good you are with the sticks, but how well you put your roster together.

Some users prefer a true coach mode where games aren't decided by how good you are with the sticks, but how well you put your roster together.

I'm in that category... Year in year out, I always preferred simulating seasons instead of actually playing the game. I was actually looking forward to the "Coach" mode in Connected Careers, but from what I've read on these forums lately, it's going to be a huge disappointment.

Good thing I didn't buy the game, just won it through a tournament.

Was it a Madden tournament?
If so, did you have to play the game in the tournament or do coach or 'sim' mode?

I am sure you see the irony...

Either way, I totally agree that coach mode should still be in this game. I don't see a practical reason for it being taken out. I could give some credence to player editing being removed from CCM rosters, but taking the actual coach mode out of it seems silly... if you consider the fact that you are supposed to 'be a coach'.

Let me be clear that I don't support the approach of the original poster however I do understand where his frustration is coming from. I'll try to answer your question.
Auto throw is an option that allows veteran madden players a poor man's coach mode in which we don't use have to use stick skills to win. It is one of the most sim ways you can play this game. I've played madden since forever and used to love to play the traditional way. However as I've gotten a bit older I've slowly transitioned to wanting a more cerebral approach to this game that I enjoy so much. There is no alternative game to turn to with football that gives you a great visual and the strategy of coaching a team besides NFL Head Coach. Unfortunately it is three years old and the graphics are no match for madden. I am shocked that there are many of you who are baffled by what we are talking about. The last two versions of NCAA Football have had a coach mode, MLB the Show has it, NBA 2k and EA's NHL series all have this. Not to mention Madden itself for several years. What don't you understand? It would really be cool if some game changers could support us like I've seen you support others who have issues with the game. I'm sure many veteran coach moders (and our numbers grow every year) would appreciate it.

Sorry for the long post-madden is a game that has become a tradition in my household so I have intense feelings about the game. Thanks

then logic could follow that they took it out to add full coach mode next year. since madden seems to be following behind those two series.

I'm not in that boat but I do kinda understand where they're coming from!

At some point you'll be so good at the game that you can actually win the SB on All-Madden with a bad team... like the Browns True coach mode adds another way to play the game which is probably more sim than anything out there.

Another guy could only use true coach mode because he is physically impaired.

Again, to me it's about giving us options! I actually think it's what Josh Looman wanted with CCM - he just forgot some!
