Will hurricane Isaac delay launch?

Not sure if its been asked and I apologize if it has but I'm in Florida and I just thought about the possibility of Isaac delaying the midnight launch/tournament for Madden 13. Does anybody know if it would be delayed or if certain stores might continue as planned? I pre-ordered through Gamestop so if by chance any of you know their policy etc. it would be great to know for sure before I sit out in a hurricane for a launch that will never happen

I'm sure it will a midnight release tournament would not look good if people got injured. Not to mention the probable loss of power. It sucks I took Tuesday off to play too.

Man that sucks, I'm just hoping it turns WAY away from us lol or goes inland Florida. East side of the storm is always the worst so as it is were probably gonna get hit hard. I just hope things don't get too messed up or it slows down or something so we can get our games first lol

Ironicaly we (RI) had a hurricane come through here last year that completely knocked most peoples power out for a week.....the week of madden release. Needless to say i was running a generator to a small tv in my living room to do my franchise.......

I don't know, cause I've never lived through a hurricane, but I'd say even a minor hurricane is enough to cause concern about this kind of thing...

Well as someone who has lived in Florida my whole life and through hurricanes I have yet to see one do significant damage anywhere near me. Worst that happened to me was no power for a week. Plus 30 mile an hour winds won't be any big deal at all.

It will only affect the launch for the Tampa area. It will be fine everywhere else.

It won't affect the launch because it will just be a tropical storm at worst it has the winds getting 27 miles an hour as the highest it will get. Gamestop will not be closed just because of that especially in Tampa. I think I should know I have been here for 22 years now.

LOL We're constantly getting stronger winds than that here in Colorado... Yeah, you should be pretty safe if that's the worst it has to throw at you.

Yeah it actually has us getting 27 MPH at most, but I put 30 to be on the safe side lol. But in all seriousness I don't see how something that small would affect the launch at all.
