Experience in Create a Player?

I'm adding Madden 12 players that are missing from Madden 13, like Jaguars WR Kassim Osgood.

However, I noticed you cannot alter their Experience? Every created players is a rookie? Is that true?

wow if thats true thats insane because i was gonna create an update one as well for 13 but if u cant update there yrs in league well then that just ruined that.

When I created Kassim Osgood with his real birthday (he's 31), he still shows up as a rookie. In the past, "Years Pro" was below their birthday in Personal Information but that isn't there this year.

I really don't understand decisions to remove stuff like that. It makes no sense whatsoever.
