Re: what XP attributes REALLY matter
I think Awareness affects a player's decision making. I feel with high awareness the defensive line can quickly adjust where it's needed, while play recognition can tell your players what the play is, if they don't have enough awareness they may end up making the wrong choice.
At least thats my take on it.Comment

As far as a DB is concerned, awareness should mean his ability to read and react to the pass play. Play recognition is the ability for him to distinguish between run and pass, and act accordingly.
That's my take.

Re: what XP attributes REALLY matter
Yeah I was wondering that to, If you are controlling a particular player (Strong Safety for example) How much does awareness matter if you are doing the "thinking" for that player?
I was comparing Ed Reed and Brandon Hardin from the Chicago Bears. I use Hardin in my Chicago Bears CCM and he fees like he is on roller skates on the field. I have a hard time controlling him. I used Ed Reed and didn't get that same feeling. Granted they are on polar opposite ends of the greatness list. But the physical attributes aren't that far off. Hardin doesn't skate around cuz of his agility because right now in my CCM there is an 8 point difference. But awareness is one thing that they are nowhere alike.
So how much does awareness matter when you are controlling the player? My greatest College Hoops 2K PG ever: Cannon Morrison

But at some point you are controlling a player. And some of us just use one player throughout a play. Especially on the defensive side of the ball.My greatest College Hoops 2K PG ever: Cannon Morrison

Re: what XP attributes REALLY matter
I've been wondering what ratings really matter and for what situations for a long time and really can't find anything but guesses anywhere. Some are obvious but then there's something like predictability...I mean wth would that even do?Comment
