    Big Hitter Trait

I purchased this trait for Manny Lawson and his hit power is still a 72... What does this trait do? Don't you need high hit power to be a big hitter? I'm just not sure what I advantage I got out of purchasing the big hitter trait... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought the trait would just increase the likelihood of a big hit, while the rating would dictate the chance for a fumble. I could be wrong

This is just an assumption, but I think the trait makes it so that when Lawson is controlled by the CPU, he is more likely to go for a big hit. Then his big hit rating would determine the quality (ability to connect and to force a fumble, I would assume) of said hit.

If traits automatically boosted player ratings in a given area, it would be redundant. Pretty sure traits are just the equivalent of 2Ks tendency ratings for the most part.

Yeah, I also think it is a trait to make the computer more like to go for big hits. I have noticed when playing the computer the guys I would expect to have big hit are the ones that have blown my players up and forced fumbles. I am always nervous when playing the Steelers or Ravens.
