Which Sig Skills will you give to legends?

Just thinking about this while i was driving home from work, seems to me the descriptions fit some old school players perfectly. I just want to post the immediate ones right now and will give it some more thought and follow up later

To those who will complain this is premature, it is pure speculation for fun to hold us over til the game drops when it can perhaps become a universally accepted list of sig skills for retro roster makers/create a legend etc.

Signature Skill list here

Allen Iverson - Shot Creator, Ankle Breaker, Interceptor, Microwave, Acrobat
Bill Russel - Post Playmaker, Break Starter, Hustle Points, Defensive Anchor, possibly Brick Wall
Bill Walton - Break Starter, Post Playmaker, Post Proficiency, Defensive Anchor
Magic Johnson - Post Playmaker, Dimer, Closer, Floor General
Larry Bird - Deadeye, Charge Card, Active Hands, Closer, Floor General
Karl Malone/Charles Barkley - Post Proficiency, Post Playmaker, Bruiser, possibly Anti-Freeze
Dennis Rodman - Brick Wall, Charge Card, Active Hands, Hustle Points, Scrapper

By all means, post your suggestions

I'd give Karl Malone the 'Brick Wall' skill since him and Stockton ran the pick and roll effectively.

Here are some that I suggest.

Kareem-Abdul Jabbar - Post Proficiency, Post Playmaker, Break Starter, Anti-Freeze
Scottie Pippen - Lockdown Defender, Interceptor, Chase Down Artist, Floor General, Defensive Anchor
John Stockton - Deadeye, Dimer, Pick Pocket, Active Hands, Floor General
Hakeem Olajuwon - Post Proficiency, Post Playmaker, Eraser, Closer, Defensive Anchor
Kevin McHale - Post Proficiency, Post Playmaker, Defensive Anchor
James Worthy - Posterizer, Finisher, Acrobat, Post Proficiency, Closer
Isiah Thomas - Finisher, Acrobat, Dimer, Closer, Floor General
Clyde Drexler - Posterizer, Highlight Film, Finisher, Acrobat, Shot Creator
Shaquille O'Neal - Post Proficiency, Brick Wall, Bruiser, Anti-Freeze

I agree with your selection for AI. I just wish there wasn't a limit on how many we can choose (well for MyPlayer I can see why). I would like to squeeze closer in there because AI has hit many clutch shots in his career so if I had to replace one it would probably be acrobat. Others I would choose if there were no limits are active hands, finisher, alley-ooper, and pick pocket.

Brick wall is for strong off ball screens, so I wouldn't give that to Karl Malone.

Read the description for "ERASER" though, one of the greatest things about Russell was that he would block shots but strategically block them to teammates or areas on the floor, not out of bounds like the description implies

yeah, malone wasn't known for setting hard picks. You could give brick wall to just about every pistons player in the late 80's, they'd be a major pain in the *** going up against them

My post from another thread (lengthy):

1985-86
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Interceptor: Great at playing pass lanes which often led to the next skill
- Highlight Reel: Spectacular dunks in the open court
- Posterizer: Dunked on people, A LOT

Honorable Mention:
- Microwave / Heat Rentention: Would go on scoring sprees, including 63 and 49 in the playoffs that year. But he had more 40+, 50+, and 60+ games during the late 80's.

1988-89
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability. Won DPOY the previous season.
- Heat Retention: Had ten 40+ games and five 50+ games.
- Posterizer: Dunked on people, A LOT. Removed highlight reel since he became less flashy. He should still pull out some highlight dunks due to his dunk package

Honorable Mention:
- Floor General: He played PG a lot that season, but really looked for his own numbers instead of making the team better.

1990-93, 1st three-peat
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability
- Finisher: Got tired of being bullied by the Pistons, so he bulked up in order to finish while being hit.
- Posterizer: Dunked on people, A LOT, STLL (1991)
- Post Proficiency: Excellent footwork in the post (1993)

Honorable Mention:
- Floor General: Directed traffic on offense along with Pip.

1995-98, 2nd three-peat
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability
- Finisher: Bulked up even more during this time. Got to the foul line often
- Post Proficiency: Excellent footwork. Added that lethal fade-away jumper to his arsenal.
- Dead Eye: Deadly midrange at the point.

Honorable Mention:
- Floor General: Directed traffic on offense along with Pip.

Some may wonder why I would not (won't in my roster) give him DEAD EYES earlier in his career. I want to show the difference in his scoring styles. Primarily a driver when he was younger, and he shot more jumpers in his later days.

Example Players: Dwight Howard, Josh Smith, Serge Ibaka
A player with this skill is known for protecting the rim with emphatic, crowd pleasing blocks. When an Eraser swats a shot, he boosts the energy of his teammates and decreases the shooting attributes (up to six points) of the player he blocked for up to a minute and a half.

It doesn't say anything about blocking out of bounds.
