I find practice annoying (cant sub) so will I end up suffering for it? meaning will it be much harder to progress or is practice just minor.

Practice only gives you coach XP, not player. At least the practices I choose are

From what I have read, simming practices does very little to progress your coach xp, but if you do the one called 'offense', it will give you 1500 xp for your coach, if you win, and even add xp to your players. The quarters are only five minutes and you must play an entire game, but it doesn't last long. Your bench players seem to get the majority of the xp with this practice.

This is somewhat correct. Some practices gives XP only for the coach while most of them gives XP to both player and the coach.

I use the 3rd practice option, and if won, everyone on my team earns 1500 XP, regardless if they have played or not, while as a coach I earn 1800xp.

Does simming games give your players XP? I want to know because I'm only in my first season, about to enter game 6 and I haven't simmed a game yet because I don't want to lose out on XP completely

Not sure but when I simmed a game the game stats were beyond horrid. Quite my season because of it. Had Jags. lost 47-3 to Bears. Bears had 900 yards of offense. Gabbert threw 85 times for me. There were probably 8 turnovers and 15 sacks in the game. Just awful results.

sim stats are bad, inflated in terms of points, but its moreso due to too many ST td's.

people moan about the xp system, when really its freaking awesome IF you know what you are doing. such as buying xp packages for your star plyers, and drafting players with high development rating. people forget about dvp rating since its not listed after you draft then unless you try to upgrade it in progressing the player

Which option is that specifically?

The 3rd option I see is called "Easy Win" and it says 500 pts.

And the last option is "circle the wagons" at 1200 pts?.

The number of XP awarded for each option varies according to the level of your coach ie new/ young coach means less XP than a SB winner like Coughlin

simming practice is CRAZY*****

sim a season and see what I mean, see what you get legacy score wise at the end of the year

then, play the "offense" or "defense", win, get 1500 legacy per week, which is about 24k, which allows a LOT of XP boost to happen. not to mention the 1200 or so xp you get even for bench players, by doing those specific 2 practices, and only those two.

I usually just do the 2 Minute Drill practice because it is the quickest one. lol

Do you need to win the practice to get the XP? Or just do it and win or lose you get it?
