No Roster Cuts After Season 1? (Online CCM)
 

Just finished my first season with the Browns. Went through the draft and missed out on a couple guys I wanted. Once I went into pre-season I noticed something though...

There aren't any roster cuts from 75.. or any other number.

Has anyone else noticed this?

(It is a private Online CCM, btw)

you have to add those extra players to your team to do so in the off season or week 1 preseason add like 10-15 guys

Cool you can add them yourself? do all the undrafted player move to the free agent list and you can sign them from there#?

Was really hoping to avoid using that word that starts with 'p' and rhymes with latch.

I am on my 3 CCM season and the past two i barely had any cap to have a 75 man team with a $1.95 Mil cap PreSeason... So i just fill the team needs and go with it...

Very good question by OP. This is an under-utlized aspect by many gamers I suspect.

Last year the CPU would assign non-drafted free agents to the roster. This year, however, we have to do it manually.

This means you don't do it at all, or you go full bore with it.

I'm not sure the implications of signing a bunch of guys and then cutting them, but that would be my only hold up. I suspect as long as there is no signing bonus you wouldn't have to lose out on the money.

I've yet to go crazy and add a bunch of undrafted guys in the preseason due to this concern, however, I like the idea we can search through free agents and add guys based on their attributes that fit our scheme. More user control is always better.

Do the CPU teams try a sign any of these FA players before the season starts or do CPU teams stay at the 53 or 55 regular season roster?
