I have been a Casual 2k bball gamer as I mostly play NHL during the same season. With a lockout and the fact my Suns may actually be exciting to watch post Nash, I am getting amped for this game. While I rented 2k12 a few times I never owned it so never really got into it. BUT, seeing all the features, additions, mobil apps, kinect controls and the like... is this the greatest leap for a franchise in one year? Maybe lots of this was present last year and I didn't know but it seems the hype machine is in overdrive and I am Pumped!!

My opinion - the jump from 2K12 to 2K13 is greater than 2K10 to 2K11. -

I think so and I have never been so hyped to play a videogame in my life (and I have not been a 2k apologist except for Top Spin 4).
For years everyone has claimed 2k is sim which is incredibly laughable and simply nonsense with 5's running step for step with 1's on breaks, goofy and heavy animations, etc...
The 2k team has literally changed almost every single thing that has sucked about their product.
Will it be perfect? No, but all I ask for is effort and I can't wait to play this game.
It has the potential to be the best sports game ever.Comment

2k10 to 2k11 holds that title but that looks like it could be changing with 2k12 to 2k13. BTW had Madden 13 not removed all the customization it would have made a case.It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Agreed, the feel of 2K11 was so good. I like a lot of things in 2K12 but it just didn't feel that good. I really , really, really hope 2K13 is a fun and good game like 2K11 was with the many additions.

I talked to my local gamestop Manager that I'm cool with and he said "Just when you thought the game couldn't get any better" . He claims he played upcoming games at a gamesstop convention in Texas so I'm thinking 2K13 will be bigger than 2K11.PSN: ForeverVersatile

Every year I feel the same about 2K. I never get my expectations too high because I know 2K is always a work in progress. But this year it's hard to not acknowledge that the game does look like it took a step forward. From the demo videos I can see the game plays different in some ways. So I am excited to play the new game. So let's see what happens.Comment
