What kind of cpu rushing stats are you seeing?

I've played around 5 CC games now and the CPU rushing totals have ranged from 82-167. Always around 3.5-5 ypc.

      Nothing out of the ordinary.

It seems like CC is meant to be played on All-Pro with minor slider sdjustments. I still haven't even touched CC because of ppl saying its broke. But everyone who says CC is good and theres nothing wrong with it, plays on All-Pro w/ minor adjustments at the most. Everyone with high detail sliders says CC is broke and not fun.

Finding the same exact thing. Pretty much almost default All-Pro Very Slow save for pumping up the CPU running game.

I am starting with a base 35 threshold.

The slider forum here is all over the board. I have never seen so many slider sets ever.

Still waiting for this game to be fully patched though because there are so many annoying bugs offline. I want it to function before i invest my gaming time.

Needless to say Madden is on the right track. Problem is....it's 2012 and this started back on Madden 2006 for this gen. Wow.

What I have noticed is that the farther you get from default, the weirder the animations start getting, and I can't tolerate the aesthetic issues that follow from various slider sets. For some reason, major tweaking causes the infinity engine to do really strange looking things. I think it's got to be largely default settings with adjustments perhaps to USER INT and Block Shedding. I believe that Block Shedding is actually more impactful than upping the Run Blocking for the CPU.

I've not had much time to play the game or experiment, but I did notice that All Pro and default had a much better feel than the few games I played on All Madden with some slider tweaks, and the computer was able to execute their offense much better without slider adjustments. Sliders are great, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I miss the days of getting a game and playing it out of the box without having to worry about always tweaking something. Those games were far from perfect, but it seems I was more content when I had to settle with what they gave you.

I'm right there with you. I've been playing close to default and getting good games all year. The game really just needed a couple tweaks to be a really good game.

I know that everyone has different skill levels, playing styles, and tendencies when playing these games, but it is mind boggling to me how so many slider sets are posted for this game..............and so many of them have extreme differences, especially with speed threshold. I started sifting through some of them last week and my head was spinning after looking at a hand full and their differences. That's when I tried out All Pro and was surprised that it played decent, without any tweaks.

The biggest problem with EA's sliders is that as soon as you mess with them, you are changing the way player ratings work. Unlike other games, if you mess with the sliders in an EA football game, you are also messing with player ratings. So now instead of having ratings dictate the game, sliders are dictating the game.

Ideally at some point we will get a system where 0 means 0 and 100 means 100, but for now, I'll take what we have.

Thanks for this post, acermina. I will say that I am primarily using your special teams, auto sub and basic game settings as opposed to the sliders because (as many have been attesting on this thread) I haven't noticed a lot of AI/user tweaking necessary to produce realistic gameplay.

I'm playing 12-minute quarters, 20-second runoff, and I have game speed at normal. Thoughts on those settings?

Uhhh, maybe you didn't get the memo that was passed out, but it is the player attributes that year in and year out, are unrealistic. Thus, a slider tweak is necessary to reign in the foolishness of the majority of player attributes that we are jammed with.
