Purpose of preseason games in CCM?

Is there any? Do you even get xp?

Pretty sure you get XP. Usually it's a good time to get your younger guys some PT, and hopefully enough XP to improve. Also a good time to evaluate some of the guys you were thinking of cutting.

what he said...my backup QB gets some time, the rookies and backup lineman, etc. You definitely DO get experience too. My rookie RB just got 3400xp after a great performance in a preseason game (I think he has superstar development so its that much more valuable; I made it a point to look)

Just madden being more realistic! Bout as important as the real NFL preseason (way too long)
