Do dual use stadiums have baseball diamonds?
I remember a few years ago Madden stadiums with dual uses like the Raiders had a baseball diamond for the first few months of your franchise. Do they have them this year?Tags: None -

Re: Do dual use stadiums have baseball diamonds?
I wondered the same thing a couple of days ago. I never use the Raiders and hardly have them scheduled early in my CCM. I always thought it was cool playing against the 49ers back in the day when they shared a stadium with the Giants. It reminded me of the Montana-Craig-Rice era.My greatest College Hoops 2K PG ever: Cannon Morrison

Nope... "if its in the game its in the game".... oh wait.
It is small stuff like this that is a product of the laziness that lack of competition in the genre has created.

Re: Do dual use stadiums have baseball diamonds?
Dolphins and Marlins had it too before Marlins moved to their new stadium. Never forget that Mud Bowl we had against the Steelers couple years ago when the Hurricane was coming toward Florida and the game was move earlier.
But yea last time i saw dual use stadiums were in last generation consoles :/Follow on Twitter: @TheBIGDOOKYComment

Re: Do dual use stadiums have baseball diamonds?
I don't know if it's laziness or lack of competition or anything... I just don't see this as being some great feature that another developer would trumpet... "NFL 2K12, Now with three games in Oakland with INFIELD DIRT!!!"
Probably just not worth the development time. If this were the 1970s thru 90s and a sizable amount of teams still played in dual purpose stadiums... Then maybe it would make sense. But in this generation of consoles, at best you'd have maybe eight total pre-season and regular season games combined out of 320 games that would require those alternate textures/field layouts... A few for the Raiders and a few for the Dolphins depending on how the schedule shook out.... and that was before the Marlins moved out to their new park. Now you might have four total games in Oakland before the infield dirt is covered. What's the point of that with everything else in the game that could use attention?Comment
