    Career Ending Injury Madden 13

    ~Hi I saw old threads for this for previous Maddens but nothing for 13...

    Last night in my CCM I got one, I wanted to keep it real and no do anything silly like reload even though it was Geno Atkins (my best player)... But It says he's injured for 46 weeks...

    However the 46 weeks doesn't go down I simmed through the season to see what would happen, he didn't retire at the end of the season, and I can't release him... What gives?

    How or what can I do. thanks in advance, the forums have helped me in other questions I've not had to ask because there's already been threads, I hope any answers to this can help me and other users.

      I rarely remember seeing a career ending injury in Madden, but basically every other injury in 2K5 was career ending.

      I remember in the Madden when Megatron was a rookie, he fractured his spine on a jump ball. Only career ending injury I've ever seen in madden. 2K5, basically had one every week.

          i think this yr in madden the injuries last longer then say a yr or whatever so say a players out for the yr the injury can lag on longer. so hes probly still on IR thats why u cant release him.

              I haven't had any so far in M13, but in M12, I sacked Eli Manning and broke his vertebrae. I was stunned when I saw that the injury report listed it as the end of his career.

                  Even though I don't like to see injuries, it would be kinda of cool to see the injury happen with the new IE and how body/limbs twist and flail all over the place.

                  New feature: Broadcast teams talks about injuries in the replay in slow motion, detailing where the player was hit(ie big back tackled by db from an angle injuring his acl/mcl etc..)

                      I've never had it happen to me until this year. TO got hurt in the first play of the Super Bowl (can't remember the specific injury.) I didn't know it was a career ending injury until afterwards when I saw it on the twitter feed. A sad day indeed

                          You can change the sliders( any ones u want if u have that enabled) and all injuries in the league are reset. im not sure if this is a bug or if it is just my league but everytime i tweak my leagues sliders everybody's injuries magically heal.

                              only one I got was madden 08 I think when Troy Smith was a rookie I wanted him to be my starter build him up Career ending injury first game
