NCAA Loyal, Who Made The Switch?

    Calling all NCAA loyalists.

Like you I've been die hard NCAA player for years. Love the series. Dynasty consumes a large amount of my time come this time of year.

Like any other year, i play the crap out of '13, and yes i really like it, and really appreciate the game.

Anyhow after a looooong Thursday-Sunday liver killer, i finally popped NCAA back in after watching the Lions/49ers game last night, and for the first time, something just felt amiss.

I don't know if i'm craving the physics engine or what. Anyhow it got me thinking about that copy of madden i have sitting on my table with under 30 minutes of air time. Maybe i'd make the switch.

Just wanting to hear from people that have done the same. Is it worth it? Am I missing the big picture keep Madden shelved? Can you get totally immersed in CCM?

    What can you tell me?

I usually only get NCAA but this season I got Madden due to CC. I really like the mode. There a few issues driving me crazy, but it's fun. I love progressing my guys after every game. I like the story lines. Gameplay and commentary are good.

I for one have enjoyed both but find myself more immersed in Madden and coach career. I mostly base it on the fact that the madden gameplay is so much better and more fun and that's why we play the game. Sure it has flaws and it always will but I'm lovin the gameplay and the ccm isn't as bad as everyone says IF you can overlook some of the flaws.

NCAA just felt so robotic and was waaay to easy for me even without exploiting the db glitch. The recruiting was awesome but whats the point if the gameplay isn't fun.

This is my first Madden game and I have given up on NCAA until they make the changes I want.

As far as gameplay goes with NCAA I love it, but Dynasty needs more work. Recruiting is about as good as it is every going to be but there needs to be more control in coaching. As a head coach I want to be able to hire assistants (OC, DC, key position coaches, and strength and conditioning coaches) that will affect the team in how they progress. Say I hire an OC that is an A+ prestige, the offense should improve more and players progress better than an OC with a D or C prestige. The more you win as a head coach the more options you have at hiring a high prestige coach. Make it to where you gain XP by winning game and completing challenges and you can put that XP towards hiring a assistants.

I stopped playing NCAA once they only included D1 teams. I like Team Builder and all, but why did they get lazy and stop including the FCS teams?

I loved NCAA 05 on the PS2, I ran it beast mode with Wyoming, William & Mary, and back then, I wasn't obsessed with the game being played sim style so I enjoyed it. NCAA has the most ******** juke animation to exsist and I'm disappointed that it was added Madden.
