Week 3 (Monday Night Football): Green Bay Packers (1-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (1-1)

MNF at CenturyLink Field so the place is going to be crazy loud, especially coming off the Cowboys game last week. This will be a huge test for the Seahawks secondary, and the defense as a whole. Against this offense, we'll see if they are just a good defense, or a great one. Should be an interesting matchup.

I got Seattle in this one. Gonna be much closer the the last game against Dallas but the home field , Wilson's legs and Beastmode will win this one in the end. They will keep Rodgers off the field.

Huge measuring stick for the hawks. We match up well against green bay but I gotta go with the packers in this game. Break out game for rodgers. It will be closer than the expert think (lee corso voice)

I think Marshawn can run on their defense, but I'm terrified of the Packers pass rush. The way that Clay is getting to the QB really concerns me. On the flip side, I'm hoping that the Seahawks front 7 can get pressure on Rodgers. Green Bay has been having issues protecting Rodgers. If we can't, then it doesn't matter how good our secondary is because he'll still make big plays.

This is going to be a dicey one. At least Jennings will be back.

          prediction Packers 21 Seahawks 14.

It's going to be a close one though.

Pack will be cocky. Seahawks have a great D. 24-21 Pack in OT.

I don't really see why they would be cocky.

Could go either way. Seattle does exactly what it takes to beat the Packers, keeping the opposing offense off the field. Possibly going to be the best game to watch of the week IMO.

Does Flynn being on the Seahawks instead of the Packers play a role in this one? There's was a lot of talk about Kolb sabotaging the Eagles last year when Philly lost to Arizona, so I'm wondering if we're lining up for a similar situation.

I like Seattle this year, I really do. But I dunno, it's hard to see the Packers fall to 1-2. I'm liking that overtime prediction, so that's what I'm going with.

This game will be a real test for the Seahawks. They will need to get consistent pressure on Rodgers and execute on offence to win this one. A big specials team play or two would help. I'm hoping for big games from Bruce Irvin and Jason Jones.

Seattle can do everything right, rush the passer, control the ball on offense, run well with Lynch, avoid turnovers etc etc. , and I still think they will need the "perfect storm" to beat Green Bay.

The Packers have so many weapons, and you have to get to Rodgers all day to disrupt the rhythm of the offense. I can't see Seattle getting that kind of pressure up front.

They will challenge the Packer receivers and make things chippy at times, but I see Green Bay moving the ball and taking what Seattle gives them at times.

Green Bay's defense will force Wilson into some mistakes I believe so I'll predict a couple interceptions that really help Green Bay solidify their win.

                            30-14 Pack.

Agree with most everyone, theoretically Seattle is the type of team to beat Green Bay. I think the Pack need to get out to a lead and force Seattle to throw more than they want. Rodgers ability to improvise and Seattle's weird 3rd down weakness so far have me worried. I also worry about them getting Chancellor isolated in man coverage and Browner on Jennings too often. I'm dying to see Sherman matched up against Nelson or Jennings.

If the Pack allow Seattle to rely on the running game and chew up clock, they're in a lot of trouble. Seattle will try to duplicate the Dallas gameplan...there will be a lot of 3TE sets to wear down a defense that hasn't been able to stop the run in the first two games. Once Dallas got tired, Lynch ran wild and Wilson had a field day off Play-Action out of those sets.

I'll go 20-17 Seattle, with the CLink being the difference.
