Problem redeeming voucher code on PS3 version PES2013

Bought the game at GameStop, plugged in the voucher code via the Playstation Store menu, and it comes up an error message:

"The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid. Please check your entries."

Thing is, I did; five times. PS Store will not accept the voucher code that was printed on the paper that came with the game. Help!

Had the same problem earlier today. Thankfully, Inin0 had an answer.

how are you guys accessing MLO then? i cant seem to get into it. keeps asking me for the code

Server might be down, I had trouble earlier in the day, but played a few games afterward.

crap nevermind. found it. actually had to go into online settings to get this to work
