WR or TE for this FREAK

I'm in week 7 or 8 in an FSU dynasty and he just signed. I'm going to play out the year so can't use him yet (may even RS next year) but he looks like he'll end up being an absolute beast. Would you put him as a match up nightmare TE or a giant WR?

    ATH
    6'7 241 lbs
    89 speed
    71 strength
    79 agility
    91 acceleration
    94 jumping
    73 catching
    74 spectacular catch
    73 catch in traffic
    77 route running
    67 release

*I can't see his blocking stats

Do some ini mini minie moe, and choose one, Nobody in the country would be able to guard him anyways, With his 6 foot 7 height and 94 jumping rating.

He probably won't have good blocking ratings and will have a low OVR at tight end.

What kind of offense do you run? I'd probably say put him at TE. He can develop as a blocker and receiver there and it is easier to play a TE at WR than a WR at TE.

I've had a few guys like that, both ended up at TE.

When I get a freaky good athlete at TE, I always line them up at receiver in certain packages. There's no rating drop for lining a TE at WR like there is when you do a HB at WR for instance, so I say make him a TE where his blocking will develop and line him up at receiver for his first season or 2 until he's a solid enough blocker.

Make him a TE, redshirt him, play 4 seasons with him, come back and post his final ovr attributes and stats and draft grade , make everybody drool all over their laptops lol

I thought the same thing! Sounds like he's the model for the recruit lol.

i'll post what his blocking and ovr at each position is later today. but i'm making him a te.

                      Mannn, tight end.

I have a similar athlete, Darius Lewis (rFr.) playing TE for me.

                      His stats (pause):
                      6'7 230 lbs
                      91 speed
                      92 acc.
                      90 agility
                      82 catch rating
                      77 overall

He's a nightmare to cover. Been a lot of fun abusing defenses with him in the flats and YAC.

he's a 70 te & 77 wr. 60 pass block, 63 run block. that's more than enough for a wr and ok for a true fresh te. he's a 75 at hb too so should be a beast after the catch.

he'll be #3 wr (although fsu has quite a bit of wr's that are rated better) and #2 te...for now. nick o'leary is pretty good.

This seems as good a place as any to ask. If I plan on running an option offense would it be to my advantage to recruit TEs and formation sub them in as my WRs? Would I get better blocking that way?
