Anybody know if 2K is planing to release a roster update when the game releases ?

The game roster was up to date as of Aug 3 ,2012 but the only trade they did in advance was the Howard trade and some others i think which happen after that date. I hope so because Marquise Teague didnt sign till Aug 8th and im guessing thats the reason why he isn't on the Bulls.

They usually release a roster update on launch day or a week after or so if I can remember correctly.

well we need 1 badly Chris Duhon and Earl Clark still on the Magic Terrence Williams,Jonny Flynn signed with the Pistons Rasheed Wallace back and there missing hell of 2nd rounders so I hope we do get an update

Will barton got guaranteed from blazers and he droped 72 this summer, played good in summer lg, he best get some good ratings

Their contracts are non-guaranteed, Pistons already have a 15 man roster with guaranteed contracts. They would have to consider waiving a player or two.

I don't think we are going to be all of the rookies this year since we don't have D-League this year in Association

I think it would b on release day default rosters always a lil outdated due 2 the roster set 2 months before release plus 2nd rounders most not sign during that time some will get cut and some will play overseas (mostly roookies from overseas) few college players drafted late will play overseas then go 2 nba example Kyle Singler from Duke drafted by Detroit in 2nd rd last yr played in Spain will play this yr in Detroit ( he b added on updated unless something change)

It's worth waiting until the opening day rosters are out, cause you can't have more than 15 in the rosters, and most of the teams have more than that with the unguaranteed training camp contracts.

But you shouldn't wait for the rookies, cause 2K is historically late adding them every year. So look for caps on 2kshare after opening day rosters are out. I only hope they will have one roster without injuries.

Gentleman, guys like Kyle Singler were on last years game just hidden. Teams must have no less than 12 players and no more than 15. Matt Barnes is a prime example, he should've been a free agent. It's also not that hard to trade McRoberts, Eyenga for Duhon and Clark or move Barnes to the Clippers. I see many people pointing out whats not correct, but I don't see many people doing anything to correct whats wrong.
