During the 2K Launch party Ronnie revealed that the celebrities were able to put in requests for how their players were represented. For example, Meek Mill wanted to be a PG with Charles Barkley's stats which made him the worst rated celebrity, while Vinny from Jersey Shore wanted Rondo's stats. Bieber sent them the most specific requests, the main one being that he's 6 foot 6 inches. Most of the celebs are their real heights, but Bieber wanted to be a SF and gave them a specific height and weight too.


I'll never play with the celeb team but that's the reason for his height.

This isn't the first year they've done this, either.

Way back in ESPN NBA Basketball (2K4), or was it 2K5...one of the 2K Sports programmer teams had this guy named Steve Paris.

He was EIGHT FEET TALL.

And had 99s in just about every attribute except free-throw shooting.

I'm not even kidding--if I had a camera, I'd load the game up right now and take a screenshot.

Why would the servers be up for the retail version before release? Of course, for the demo, yeah. But release? I wouldn't expect much. Wait til the game is actually out...
