    2012 Training Camp/Preseason Games Thread

Suprised there wasn't one up already since Camp got underway earlier this week.

First set of Preseason Games take place this weekend, including one today at 2PM(on NBATV)between the Celtics against Turkish club Fenerbahce.

Here's the link for the rest of the Preseason Schedule:

Celtics today... I'm really excited about this season - Sullinger... Green is back (and in GREAT shape, I hear)... The Jet... Courtney Lee... Those Heat/Celts' matchups might be like the old Lakers/Celtics from the 80's with hatred and a Rambis-like clothesline tackle...

I know it's said every year, but this year could really be one of the best. Sucks that D Rose won't be around though.

Boston has some depth on paper. It's good to see them out there against some Euro team. I hope other teams are doing the same type of thing so I can get some action

Watched the game... Pierce looked out of sync, and it was an obvious 1st preseason game. LOVED what Jeff Green provided, and Sullinger will bang and hit the boards. Felt the refs just wanted to dictate too much of the game and it was hard to watch - very little flow.

I watched the game when it first aired and I just watched it again, Rondo seems to really have worked on his jumper during the offseason. Sullinger played some good defense against some of of the longer guys. Melo looked lost, he made a few good plays contesting inside shots but that's it. Green played extremely well coming off his injury.

I am REALLY high on Sullinger, Doc even eluded to Sullinger possibly starting later on in the season. Saw some very good stuff from him yesterday.

Yikes. Hope we never have to play against Monty at some point.

I always liked Monty back in the day... Just wondering why they don't seem have enough able bodies to practice with that he's got to take the court.

I think it's just something Monty does, he likes to get in there and scrap with the guys.

Yeah. One of his favorite things to do with young wings when scouting them for draft is to get in there himself and evaluate by backing them down and guarding them.

He says he likes to foul the hell out of them just to see how they react.

Also, if anyone saw the man speak, wow. Everyone was listening to his every word. You could hear a flea fart in that gym.

NFL Football and MLB Playoffs on today, I can see why no one would pay attention to the games that were on today.

Watched a little of it, but record the Hornets game. Davis and Rivers looked solid, but you can definitely tell the team is young and with little practice time so far.

I went to a watch party. We floated a keg in 3.5 hours and set our fantasy draft order. Baseball on tv is equivalent to paint drying and the NFL should stop the false advertising and call itself the National Commercials and Watching Refs Go Under Hoods League.
