    Making of the Perfect Franchise and Draft Class

    The making of the perfect draft class wouldn’t be possible without all the hard work of the community we have here at OS Sports. To give you guys some background of how we got here, we have to explore here;

    http://www.operationsports.com/forums/madden-nfl-football-rosters/571406-actual-madden-13-roster-ported-madden-12-xbox-360-a.html

    dhsmustang was the first to be able to Hex-Edit Madden save files, here he was able to import Madden 13 rosters straight into Madden 12. Next we found Xanathol who was able to use his knowledge of Madden 08 PC modding and help us get an editing program to dump our roster and franchise files in. That thread can be found here;

    http://www.operationsports.com/forums/madden-nfl-football-rosters/579625-madden-roster-editor-v1.html

    A couple good threads to get you what you need can be found here;
    SWB’s edited roster thread which should be used as your base roster;

    http://www.operationsports.com/forums/madden-nfl-football-rosters/580799-swbs-hex-edited-imported-roster-madden-2012-a.html

    Once you start a new franchise you will need to get past the pre-season, once the main season starts save your franchise to usb. You will want to import the 2013 schedule using the editor found in this post;

    http://www.operationsports.com/forums/madden-nfl-football-rosters/579625-madden-roster-editor-v1-19.html#post2044239946

    Next you will want to import our draft class, which you can download here;

    Version 1 with Projected rankings fixed by illQuille

    Version 2 with additional edits by Noose

    This is where I will need the communities help, I will be posting a spreadsheet of all players in the draft class and the Madden pictures next to the real player pictures. The goal is to get the most accurate players into the draft class as possible...

    Here is a excel file loaded to google docs with all players in the draft sorted by overall, I listed the potential as well.

        Re: Making of the Perfect Franchise and Draft Class

        Xan, I love your editor and your thread, but am moving my draft class discussions to this thread.

        With that, I've gotten skin colors to take in the draft class using Raw Tables, didn't seem to work or be accurate in appearances tab. Now am working on tones,(not so important) and hair(dreads, more important). Are they tied to face? Also not sure if possible but can Clay Mathews hair be stuck to other white players or black players for politically correctiveness!

        Also I know these but can anyone supply the missing one if it exists and also what is the difference between Cyberface and face?

        PUHE = Cyberface
        PNEC = Face
        PGHE = Skin
        XXXX= Tone

        Thanks

          Hair in game is tied to the head, I think. 'Head' is the 'cyberface' value in my appearances tab. If you can describe what PNEC is changing, I can expose that separately. PCPH and PSKI are the traditional skin color / tone fields - if those are having no effect, I'll update the roster to expose the ones you guys are listing.

          Re: your draft class roster, Luke Joeckel goes to Texas A&M, not LSU. Not sure if on purpose, but most at LSU believe CB Tharold Simon will go pro after this season. I'll post more if I see anything.

          Edit: Carrington Byndom is at Texas, not LSU
          Edit2: Manase Foketi is at Kansas State, not LSU

            Anyone else really wish we had the editor this time last year?

              Just by the picture's you've posted, Tyler Bray looks black, and a few running backs are off.

                  Thanks for the player feedback. Changes will be made, however for the time being I'm going to roll with the players that are in it now. I'd prefer to get the majority of things done. Adding a player later would be easier, as they can be exported/imported etc. I'm sure there will be many more additions and subtractions to come.

                  As for tones & skin colors, I have had success using PGHE and changing it's value in Raw Data tables. Values are in the hundreds or at least double digits. it works, so I'm happy with it. I have changed PNEC but did not notice an immediate change, I was only looking for obvious color change. So it's possible it was a face or head thing.

                    Short Dreds you can barely see, medium Dreds hit the neck, not one player in our draft class has long Dreds.

                      K cool, can you throw me some NFL player names with each type of dreads please.

                      Also, if you happen to see them, small arms, or huge pads could you post it?

                      Also I know for the D side, these players are wrong color at least. And will have it fixed soon:

                          Joseph Addai also has medium Dreds, forgot to look it up but it's different then the one listed above.

                          Lendale white has hair I have only seen on him, maybe corn rolls?

                              All changes to the defensive side listed so far are done. Also, all skin colors and hair is done, all huge pads removed. Still some to be done to DT(beef) and quite a few huge arms, but better then chicken arms.

                              Cursive, not sure what more you've done to the offense, but was going to do the portraits now. Just don't want to mess with them if your doing edits as it'll be to hard to manage changes. So if you're not doing anything to it, let me know and I'll get started on portraits, and then body/color changes. If you have done anything new since last posted file, maybe you want to import it, or whatever. Just keep me posted.
