I'm writing this thread in hopes it becomes a list of players who prefer to play NBA 2k13 on the HOF Simulation setting. My boys and I have been playing 2k on these settings for years and it is usually quite different from that arcade feeling you get playing ranked games. It takes some getting used to but its the closest you get to an actual simulation in this "basketball simulation" NBA 2k13 game.
That mode is so beautiful because it eliminates much of the cartoonish elements of ranked games and requires a more intuitive style of play.
You probably wont find a lot of people playing on this mode because it's not for everybody.
I've found that 6-7 minute settings work best with Hof sim games. .
Some ideas: My boys and I generally simulate playoff series. Using best of 7 NBA playoff series format (22111 or 232). Although that takes up much of my 2k time. I've always thought it would be nice to have a larger group of people who like to play on Hof Sim without me having to explain it to them first.
With that, I'll list my name. So you come on here looking for people who prefer playing 2k13 on Hof Sim settings (6-7 mins). Link up with them and play some good games.
