Dallas is coming into Baltimore after a long bye week following their harsh week 4 loss to Chicago in what could easily be considered a MUST-win for them. Baltimore is coming off their sloppy week 5 victory against the Chiefs.

The teams have only met 3 times in the past the last match back in '08. Each of the past matchups the Ravens have won by more than 9 points.

It wont be an easy match up, especially seeing as how at home the Ravens will be able to more easily utilize their hurry-up offense.

    Go Ravens!

I'm cautiously optimistic. Do I think we match-up well with Baltimore? Yes. We just need to contain Rice as much as possible. I hope we can get back some guys on the DL and we can see Raitliff for the first time this year.

I'm not afraid of Baltimore's defense, but I think we need to score first, try to calm the crowd down. If Baltimore jumps up to a lead, I don't think we have the mental fortitude to withstand that and the crowd, unfortunately.

The turnover margins is what worries me most. Seems like the Cowboys always have the turnover lever switched on whenever matched up against any ball-hawking team.

I would love to see this as the game where the Dakkas OL finally gets it going, but this is a tough Ravens defense. At the end of the day, physically road-grading the defender out of the way can makeup for any lack of scheme or protection sets. I'm hoping Calahan & Garrett call a game that allows the OL to attack instead of react.

I'm also interested in seeing what the BYE week brings. I saw SOME good things against Chi from the OL, but that needs to be sustained.

I really really hope we get some of our DL back, especially Ratiliff.

        BTW, I wouldn't say this is a must-win but the schedule is a bit tough here. @BAL, @CAR, NYG, @ATL, @PHI.

I say must win because they're 3rd in their division. Can't really keep up if you don't put up a W when you're this far behind this early.

I think the game will stay close and the team that'll win will pull way ahead in the end. Don't expect the crowd to go out of the game either. M&T is really hard to quiet down. It'll be more about the offenses then the defense. Both of our teams O tend to be inconsistent.

Time for Ngata to have a big game!

We are half a game out man, lol. And still have 5 games in the division.

I have a feeling about the Cowboys in this one. Of course everytime I have a feeling about the Cowboys it's been wrong.

Having 5 division games isn't that great. The Raiders were 6-0 a couple of years ago and still didn't make the playoffs.

Well, yes. But the whole being 3rd place and far behind is ridiculous. We are a half a game back and that's only because we already had our bye week. LOL. This isn't a must win but it would be a good win.

Your opinion, and clearly no point in arguing it with you.

I want to see how the Ravens clean up the offense outside of being able to use the hurry-up. With how poorly we played against Kansas City I really want to see if Flacco can rebound against Dallas' secondary. I've not watched them too much, but what I've seen they've not been bad.

Wonder if Dallas goes a bit more conservative with how poorly their WR's played in week 4

I expect Bmore to win this game, but I think it will be close. Bmore 28-21.

I like this prediction. I think the Ravens winning depends heavily on our offense this game. We've been suspect as far as D goes this season, and if we can't establish a run game and/or work the hell out of the no-huddle... Well I don't see us beating Romo when he has something to prove.

Then again they could also cough up 5+ turnovers to our D, and it be no contest.

It's so hard to tell with two teams who have horribly inconsistent offenses.

And thanks for the compliment on the intro post. I love me some stats.

No Spencer again most likely and another punter hurt. Why couldn't we keep McBriar who is healthy and doing a great job for Philly? SMH.

I have no confidence in the Cowboys' offensive line to allow our skill players to do anything during meaningful game time.
