How far would 60k VC get me in MyPlayer?

Sick of facing super teams in myTeam so I'm contemplating selling the three gold players I have and spending the 60k on my myplayer.


How high would I be able to get my athletic PG? I've played nothing more than the rookie showcase. I just wanna have some fun on the online blacktop.

Lol at first, I thought that said 60 VC. BUT, 60k should cover all the basic attributes. Well get them to a respectable rating, that is. Ive put about 20k VC into mines and he's at a 74, but with a couple sign skills. Also kinda blew some on pre-game rituals...

My advice to you is know for a fact that this MP is your MAIN MP because once you've spent VC in myCAREER, its essentially gone forever.

I dont recommend wasting your VC that will forever be lost in my player. Without a patch, you'll keep getting demoted to a non-starter position despite leading the league in everything.

As allready mentioned in the other thread:
You just get benched if you're ball hogging or making like 11 Turnovers in a game or 5 in a quarter. Play for the team and limit turnovers, bad shots and poor defending. All that will result in 35+ Minutes.

I also spend 60k VC but not only on atributes but on signature skills and clothing. In additon to that I also earned 20k VC by playing.

I'm 95 overall If you don't buy clothing and signature skills and just boost your attributes I suppose you'll have a 98 rating

60k VC will get you A LOT in MyCareer. I will suggest waiting until the patch to start it though.

And when is that patch coming out? Could be when the season starts or it could be in December... 2K is always late so I don't really care.



I got a PG now because of the playvision errors etc. When the patch finally comes I'm going to make a SG/SF. I'm just going to run the coach mode constantly so I'll get easy VC.

Hate to rain in on your parade but your information is 100% wrong. Case in Point. I was playing against the Heat as a starter, Scored a Ton, A+ team grade, `10 assist, game winning shot, and was demoted back to 6th man.

Earlier that season, I made Sixth man after only 3 games. Well after another dominating performance the coach told me at the end of the game I deserved a better role. Well my better role was a demotion back to role player and the starter at my position became our "3rd" string SF.


AS of right now I'm coming off the Bench still despite winning Every player of the week, Rookie and Player of the Month, League Leading Scorer, Steals, FG%,Efficiency Rating and Average team Grade of A+. Allstar game is still glitched and Allstar weekend will cause the season to end at times.

The game mode is full of bugs and it would be silly for anyone to waste anymore VC on my player. Do i play the mode? Yes but I don't put no more VC in my player because a patch is needed.

This guy would be better off keeping Lebrons and Company until the season starts because those guys probably go up in value. Putting VC in my player at this point is basically throwing them down the drain....real talk.

Well I had ONE similar case. But that was hen i had 4 turnovers in the first 5 minutes of the 1st quarter. But the rest of the game I didn't comitted even 1 but made 33 points 14 assist 6 rebounds.
Next Game I was benched. Maybe this is a bug. But I thought that this is kind of a penalty for beeing carless with the ball in the 1st quarter :O

The Key to your performance is to watch what your coach says to you once the game is over. I been promised a better role and minutes every single game because I dominate.

I don't mean just scoring 50 point. I mean I score the most points, my FG % right now is 78%, I lead the team in every category. The game is bugged. I'm on the Hornets and as I said earlier we played the Heat and I had to do everything because my team mates don't know what Defense is. I dominated Lebron, hit the game winning shot, coach told me how great I played at the end. My reward was a demotion.

You can do whatever you want. But it's obvious there is a patch coming out that fixes several bugs in the myplayer mode. So if you want, you can start all over again but I was planning to make several players anyways so... Every time you make a new one you have to start from scratch. Even when you spent money, that's how the game is played.

You can still play the mode like I do, its one of the best ways to make VC. On Key games only put it on 12min quarters, score a ton(100) and you can earn almost 2000 VC in one game.

At 91 you should be dominating so just saved any remaning VC made for this My Player and once a patch comes out you should have a ton of VC saved.
