2. This nonsense about some players being too good. Players like Stephon Curry and Nick Young. Obviously people have never seen them play because they get hotter than hot pockets when they get hot. STAY ON THEM AND CHANGE YOUR GAME PLAN and once again you can stop them.

3. The online complaining. This game plays better online than any of the other games 2k has released in it's nba franchise so give them a little kudos. I am typically able to find a game within seconds.

4. No more crying... please no more. This game is amazing. LEARN BASKETBALL! and you will win.

To follow up on # 2 the Sixers were facing the Nets in pre-season and the game was close. The Sixers was winning the whole time and the Nets came back 4th quarter to tie with like 40 seconds to go. So like the last possession Sixers up one right, and Nick Young has the ball with like 5 seconds to go on the shot clock. The time expired and Nick Young hit a fadaway three by the wing with 2 defenders in his face to put a dagger in the Nets for any type of comeback.

Anyway point I'm trying to make is Nick Young is very talented, so forget what the 2k critics have to say he's a monster. And yes u defiantly have to make adjustments in this years game to win. I am now 40-24 online and have lost like 2 of my last 15 games without using the Heat or Lakers. Just beat a guy with the Rockets against the Celtics like 68-51. Cleary all I see the guys do is drive to the basket with a star and think its going to work when they need a bucket but not this year at least with me playing as your opponent lol.

It's like the old 90s quote "I love this game lol"

new points.

#1 . People don't even realize basketball is a game of runs.. one team get's hot and then cold.. and then vice versa.. you don't just kill the whole game and nobody stays hot the whole game. You have to fight off the runs..

#2. If you don't know people's hot zones.. then don't even shoot with them.. WATCH THEM PLAY PLEASE!

#3. This game is soooo good at mimicing real life.. there's this thing called passing. and it works.. but you need to learn how to do total control passing, you need to dribble to the player a little bit and then pass or wait till they get open.

#4. LAY OFF THE TURBO.. I love that if you hold turbo too long your player is done.. and p.s .. if you hit turbo button at right time off hesitation you will bolt right by someone to the hoop.

I'm sorry i sound so hateful but I have just grown tired of all the babies in this 2k forum. We need a winning thread.. and here it is.

holding L2 to defend shots really is much better than using the right stick or pressing triangle. shooters miss a lot more shots if you use L2. this has saved me online. before i couldnt stop anyone even if id be defending them tight.

I'll say this...LMAO I finally beat Miami...in South Beach too! Using the Celtics it was back and forth til PP put the dagger with about 2 1/2 min remaining in the 4th

I definitely agree with the sentiment here for the most part. I usually play as New Orleans online, and I am USUALLY able to beat people playing as your typical Miami, OKC, and LA Lakers by sticking to a solid gameplan, playing defense, and running an actual offense rather than goofing around playground style.

HOWEVER - it is completely false to say that there aren't some players who are badly overrated/cheesy in 2K13, especially when you're locked into playing on pro online. The worst offenders are usually small, 6th man type guards with high 3-pt shooting ability.

Jamal Crawford is far and away the best scorer in 2K13 online, and that just shouldn't be the case. Yes, you can adjust your defense to limit him somewhat, but it is not sound "knowledge of basketball" to constantly be double-teaming and focusing your entire defensive scheme around JAMAL CRAWFORD. I know he CAN be a dynamic scorer in real life, but he's wildly inconsistent, and he's certainly not the 70+% 3-pt shooter this game will have you believe.

Crawford & Curry give me the most problems. Kinda hard to win when the guy just shoots a random shot with the D in his face(pause) lol & makes it.

I just played the featured game today and it's funny cuz it's clippers vs warriors.. I wasn't paying attention for like a couple minutes because my wife was talking to me and then blam curry already had like 30 points. I play 8 min quarters so this was like third quarter. but then I brought in jamal crawford and put in some work and i came back.. i won by like seven points.. in overtime. I have never had so many close games as I have had with this game.

In response to cheesers comment. Of course there is cheesing and cheesers are always gonna cheese. There have been cheesers since day 1 of nba 2k and they exist in every game. Just something I choose not to worry about and hope that I don't run into them but I still have something for them too. This is actually the first 2k I have been able to use a lot more teams because they play realistically.

and if you want to call this the worship thread... then I am 100% ok with that. time to worship some more and play some blacktop and work on this control stick.
