    WR's can't win MVP

Anyone have a wideout win MVP?

My guy just had a sick season 160 catches 2100 yards and 24 td's

But Aaron Rogers won MVP with 4,400 yards and 38 TD's

My WR didn't even win OPY my QB did even though he missed 4 games due to injury.

    WTH!

My WR has 968 yards and 14 TD through 8 games and isn't on the top 10 for MVP.

Just finished a season in which my WR had 2400 yards and 25 TD's and finished 3rd in MVP voting behind Stafford and Rodgers. Stafford was my QB and broke Brees' passing record, but he threw 34 interceptions. MVP is usually a QB award in reality, and with Stafford breaking records I wasn't too surprised.. but what got me was that Matt Cassel won OPOY despite Stafford, Rodgers and the WR being 1-2-3 in MVP voting

Yes, I have won two MVPs with WRs and one with a TE. I won the WR MVP with Marvis Green out of the draft on the Colts as well as Coby Fleener during my first season.

my issue is more with legacy on defense. how are we supposed to get a drafted CB/S/etc to hall. or OL?

I know but if a WR in the NFL had 160 catches, 2,000 yards and 24 td's he would without a doubt win MVP. My team was 12-4 also.

that probably means they have a Qb throwing to them with better stats...fact is its a qb league

                  Re: WR's can't win MVP

Its funny, because I had 2580 yards with Brian Quick, and about 18 touches, and my RB, Isiah Pead and Jeff Demps both went 1 and 2 in the MVP running, with Bradford and Quick following them.

                  Pead-1200 yards with 31 touches
                  Demps-2109 yards with 8 touches.
                  Bradford-5645 yards, 51 touches.

I was playing against All Pro too, but I played every game and it was 12 minute quarters XP.
I dont think WR's will ever get MVP.

                    Re: WR's can't win MVP

I'm still playing with my WR I made when the game was a few weeks old, so no real updates on the gameplay (were there any, no idea?).

I play on all-madden and I've won the MVP award 2 (or 3) times in a row so far... It's so easy to score a lot and run many yards. I don't know why it would be hard?

I'm going to start a new career sooner or later (first I need to unlock the acvhiement) but playing as a WR is the easiest position in this game.

Unless Quick somehow averaged 172 yards every time he touched the ball, I think it's safe to assume he meant touchdowns

Has anyone tried having a WR have a monster season w 2 quarterbacks? That way, the single QB won't have out-of-this-world stats but 2qbs combined for insane WR stats? Maybe that WR gets some MVP cred

Any WR with a great year will have to split the credit with his QB, just the way it is.

It does not work the other way around.
