NHL 13: Five Things to Accomplish

With the lockout still in full swing, hockey fans and casual hockey gamers are left to mine the depths of NHL 13 for the delicious marrow of hockey goodness. As always, there is plenty to do in the game, with tons of value in both the offline and online space. Since there is so much to do, let's take a look at what milestones you can accomplish in the next year, with an eye to achievements and trophies for the Xbox 360 and PS3, respectively.

My XBOX just locked me out when it broke so unfortunately, I am retired besides this year they just reverted back to last year with the skating and ruined the best game they made in years. So not missing much I think I'll go outside and see what the world looks like now.

The fact BeAGM was not even mentioned kind of symbolizes EA's approach to this series. As an offline franchise gamer, this series has been stagnant since peaking with NHL 10. I buy every year, in hopes that there will be a meaningful change to BeAGM, only to be disappointed every year. Is NHL 13 an improvement to realistic play on the ice? Yes, somewhat. Is it more fun to play? No, not in my opinion.

I would disagree, only slightly. On the ice this game is fun vs the ai. They need to do something to be a gm, so you feel like you're part of the NHL instead of just GM of your team. If it weren't for trades, you would have no idea there were any other GMs in the league. As far as playing the game it's my favorite of all time.
