Anyone else really like online MyPlayer Blacktop?

Everyone is talking about what they hate, so why not talk about the fun and enjoyable things. MyPlayer Blacktop is one of the best modes this game has offered since the online MyPlayer scrimmages in NBA 2k10 (or was it 2k11?). I play with 2 other friends and we try and get a long winning streak together. It's also fun seeing everyone else's myplayer.

I feel the same way. I gave it a few games and although I didn't lose, I didn't really enjoy myself either. Not easy matching up with SGs with a PF.

I only play it for quick VC. Only one blacktop mode, you can't win by 2, there's only 2 courts, the team who checks first is pre-determined and it's only 3 on 3 halfcourt bball. Its one saving grace is that it's better than the imposter blacktop last year.

Blacktop is good as long as you got friends to play with. Its something for me and my friends to do on the weekend and can be fun if you get some competition. We normally beat everyone we play because we're that damn good.

Got a little boring after a while. Still play it time to time with friends but still enjoy ranked matches,private team up more. We need CREW back. 3v3 half court with no rules is played out to me.

I agree that can suck. They need to make some serious changes for next year.
1. Make players take the ball out at the halfcourt line and require them to have to inbound the ball to a teammate.
*This will force players to make atleast one pass in a possession(LOL) and it will cut down on that easy 3pt spamming that takes place. I've played in games where a player never passed the ball because the same person always takes it out and that person doesn't have to inbound to a teammate.
2. Have teammate grade influence how many points you get for an online game.
*Guys who hotdog, jack bad shots, and hardly ever passes/sets screens/rebounds get less points per game even if they score a bunch of points.
3. Add in fouls and 3 seconds in the key to support player movement and discourage steal spamming along with slow down the game. I know it's streetball but they do call fouls on the playground.
4. If you are playing to only 21 atleast make it so you have to win by atleast 2 points.
5. Turn on some lights on those courts.
*One of those courts is so dark in the upper portion of the screen that I can't see my man or myself, only the circle under them(barely)

My only complaint is for them to speed up the Blacktop a notch. Seems slow to me.

When you play with friends, it's a lot more fun, and things like this can happen.

^^ That was nice.
Online Blacktop does suck if your solo.. 70% the time there one ballhog, and 50% the time I'm the only one going for rebounds. I wish there were more then 2 camera angles, cause since defense is non exisitent, it hard to tell the angle you are lined up with them, like being squared up in defensive stance.

I like what you said but #3 i disagree it's already too slow in some games

The problems I have with it are ball-hogging teammates and mindless chuckers. I don't like this mode much, because on-ball defense seems to be so toned down that a guy with a 90 3-point rating is always money, regardless of what kind of shot he takes. I also always try to spread the ball around and make sure my teammates get touches, but no one else seems to play like that.

It's good but it's not crew. It's only 3 on 3 and at a park lol. Idk I prefer a real arena. There's not enough d besides the constant stealing.
