EA Dropping the ball on Uni Updates

I see that there is a huge post here posting a lot of the new updates.

Me personally I have seen Boston College, North Carolina, & Louisville all wear some new helmets or unis already. Mississippi State, Texas A&M and SEVERAL more schools will wear more later.

Why are these not being input into the game in a reasonable time frame. Halfway through the season all we have is a handful of jerseys that should have been in the game from the start. And some adidas packs with Notre Dame Ireland game, which isnt much, their Miami game, and some old school unis from the Big 10. It's like if Notre Dame has a new uni, EA will release it before it's even worn. No other school gets love like that.

Where is Vanderbilt's White helmet????

Can we please get some alternate team colors for accessories.

Not trying to be a d!ck, but if they won'fix DB glitches and other issues why would uni updates be any different? Unfortunately you can't fix your issue with roster updates and sliders.

Man take that DB glitch talk to the proper thread...gettin old!! There is a whole book over there for you to complain to. Rosters do need to get put in this game more like they were promised. Not sure why they can't get out more uni's, and this was one of the reasons i finally bought this damn game.

To be fair, this is a new service EA just created for FREE. In the past, we never would have got any updates, this year we got 2 free ones (Uniform Fix and a Pro COmbat one). The reason ND gets their uniforms out is EA wants to make money on their product, and they know ND fans are numerous and willing to pay.. If teams like USC, Texas, or Alabama got new uniforms, they'd be rolled out quickly, too.

didn't they add a bunch at the time of that last patch? i picked up the Husker/Wisconsin ones a while back, the service stayed quiet, then after the last patch, i was prompted that items had been added.

Mississippi State is wearing these uniforms on Saturday. They have not been added in a patch yet.

It's not hard to update these every week. People will buy them. All of use here at OS are die hard fans of football in general.

I'm more worried about them getting in the default uniforms they still haven't got in yet than I am about alternates, though I'd love to have both.

Yeah I must say they have dropped the ball big time on this. New feature yes, and it is great, but to only give us what...3 updates?? To me, that is fail. It would have been nice to get all the default uniforms first, to ensure every team would be close to up to date before releasing new uniforms. I am hoping that EA is bundling everything togther and release 1 or 2 big updates later in November to take care of the alternates and the new releases. Hoping, but not counting on it. And yes, it would be great to get the equipment and accessories a major overhaul.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but you guys do realize how much time and effort it takes to keep up with the (literally) thousands of uniform combinations for all 125+ teams, right? You can't seriously expect them to put out new features, fix old issues and still keep up with every single teams uniform changes, can you?

As for the newly released uniforms... this stuff takes time to get in. You've got to model the uniforms (which is even harder if the team doesn't provide nice source material for the modeling process), build them, test them, get them approved by Sony/MS, and then you can get them "into the game in a reasonable time frame".

**** takes time; chill out and be glad we've finally got the ability to get uniform updates at all!

Maryland has been wearing new uniforms, pants and helmets all season long. Pretty amazing that EA will throw it a uniform a team wore once over uniforms worn since September and unveiled before the season even started.

Who did not see this coming? I do feel that EA dropped the ball on this feature but I also did not get my hopes up that there would be many updates. I am the type of person that would pay for all of these updates if reasonably priced. Some teams just need to be updated with the uni's that they use week in and week out. The alternates are great but I can live without a 54th version of Oregon unis.

I started a thread awhile back about this issue from some info I got from a friend who works in the Arizona athletic department who directly worked with EA in regards to the game, and everyone thought I was talking out of my a**.
