Haven;t played a whole lot, some questions

I'm working on a GTAIII 100% run, after I finish that, I'm diving into Madden.

I'm taking over the Niners..but I'm 'changing' the team. I much prefer the 4-3 so I'm switching to the Cover 2 playbook, I'd like to mix in some 3-4 but I prefer the C2 to the Multiple D PB. Wondering what effect this will have on the current team...players OVR etc... I'll be drafting guys for the 4-3 starting with a beast DT if I can find one.

I also want to go with a more pass-based offense. I don't want to be like Green Bay or the Patriots/Saints etc, but I would like to throw it more. Do player OVRs go down at all if I swap schemes? I'll also draft based on the new schemes and build a 'new' team that way.

Can I switch player schemes or just the coach?

'New' team doesn't mean I'll be getting rid of the top current guys of course.

I'm using the draft guide as well, if there's certain guys I should look for, feel free to list some names or which drafts to keep an eye out for!

Yes, OVR will fluctuate with your choices in scheme. Yes, you can change both player and coach scheme.
Can't think of any particular draftees right now though.

There's no need to list draftees in this thread. There's another thread where they're talking about draftees (and ruining online CC's IMO) already made. Here:

For Draftees, my best one has been an RT named B. Krautman. He's up to 98 OVR after 4 seasons. Others that have been especially good for me are RE K. Walters and WR K. Richardson. RE A. McClain, even though I didn't get him, is absolutely disgusting as well.
