Worth buying?

Is it worth buying Madden 13, never got M12 as told how poor it was but since finding the roster threads am thinking of trying using some classic rosters. Would like to listen to any ones views on this years version?

Don't bother. Pick up NBA 2K13 or Assassin's Creed 3. MUCH better games and so friggin' fun. I'm a huge football fan that's bought every Madden ever released, but this year killed it for me.

I like Madden '13, it's the best Madden to date and that's not truly saying much because it's been lackluster and this was the game we should have seen at the least 3 years ago! Still worth buying though if you missed 12. Black Friday would be the best time to get it if you already waited this long.

I would rather play 12 with a roster update over 13, but that's just my opinion.

no, it's not. the game is still heavily bugged even after the latest patch. save your money and buy a game you can actually play and have fun, not struggle against.

Madden 13 is a very good game. But do your research. Both 12 and 13 have their positives and negatives. Do you like the new features put into 13? Yes? Get it.

For me it's worth buying. It's no head coach 09 (I had to), but it gets the job done.

Im loving madden 13...I just wish NCAA 2013 was as good of as a game because Im more of a college fan.

I would not recommend this game to anyone. The main selling point of the game, 'physics you can feel' don't even work. The moment you see Wes Welker throwing off defenders as if they're nothing will make you want to turn off your game.

Bunch of annoying things like having to turn gameflow off every game, no formation subs, wind arrow points the opposite direction for fgs, inside running is pointless because your rb will trip over his lineman, the game loves to freeze at the depth chart, on ps3 turning it off makes your ps3 check for corrupted data the next time you turn it on etc... Please don't cave in and get this mess of a game.

Assassins creed 3 is easy mode garbage. Liked the first 2 games in that series but they are so easy... wait until it's 20 bucks. So tired of this generation of big budget press one button ultimate mode games. Nba is pretty good honestly. I would say buy it. I didn't like madden 13 at first but now am having a great time.

I appreciate operation sports because some guys on this site are never satisfied. That in the long run benefits us all, as it pushes developers to make a better game. At some point though you have to ask yourself, are you having fun with the game, even though it's not perfect. I am having a great time with madden for the first time since 2010. Go for it man game is fun but not perfect.

Thanks every one for your replies, the price at my local store is 45 GBP, to much going by the replies I got, will wait untill the sale or maybe Ebay if less than 30 GBP.....
