1978 Revisited!!

Hey all!!! I will soon be sending my newest creation to the vault. The complete 1978 Project!! All faces, rosters, attributes, lineups, etc. from my second favorite season. (See my 1984 roster). I am older (51) so i remember these years as being my personal favorites. It will be in the vault as JohnEKool so keep your eyes open. 2-3 weeks out yet. Will keep you all posted on my progress. I made the 1978 Dodgers and Yankees for the MLB Show 10. I was bummed that I had to use audio name "Steve Garvin" for Steve Garvey.

I am looking forward to your project. The 1978 season was the first season I followed baseball at the ripe age of 8 years old.

Finished with 4 teams in one day!! Going faster than before. I am using my 1984 roster as my base so I don't have to create so many players from scratch. Happy to see everyone still playing and interested in classic baseball. I remember watching NBC on Saturday's for the game of the week. No VCR, no DVR, no ESPN, so if you missed it, you never got to see it. Closest thing to highlights was "This Week In Baseball" with the unforgettable voice of Mel Allen!! My favorite 1978 teams were the Reds and Dodgers. I liked the Yankees too but that is sort of against my code because I am a Tigers fan!! Not saying I can keep up at this pace, but I may be done sooner than anticipated!!! Thanks for you comments and your interest in the season. FYI, they still haven't got "GARVEY" in the game. Still using "GARVIN" LOL!

Love it! Thanks for starting this project. The downside of it is that I get to play as the Braves and here is how the season ended:

I too was 8 years old during this awesome time in baseball. Every Saturday I woke up, watched Scooby Doo, The Super Friends, This week in Baseball, The game of the week and then either Creature Feature or Kung Foo Theater!

What great memories!
