Looking to buy one of these used. Which one is better? I dont really care if the rosters are out of date.

NCAA 11 is the way to go. I like both games (also like 13) but I think 11 is a better overall product than 12.

11 better gameplay and less glitches/issues. 12 has coaching carousel, custom playbooks, and custom conferences. 12 also has the tendency glitch though, which killed franchise enjoyment for me. I played over 15 seasons of 11. 11 also looks better on ps3 (less jaggies).Comment

I think 11 has a chance to go down as the best game in this series current gen. It seems EA added so much depth to the franchise the past few years that it has hurt their ability to diagnose and fix bugs. On one end we get a deeper game, yet on the next end those games have more problems than simpler, more straighfwd titles like NCAA 11. The best thing about 11 was that the players all performed to their tendencies, but 12 was a mixed bag in that regard.
The only reason I stay away from 11 is because it did not have the option to edit rosters in dynasty.Comment

NCAA 11 for sure. NCAA 11 you can at least Celebrate and recruitings so easy. Also Alabama still have Trent Richardson and Julio Jones.Comment

I sold 13 a month or 2 ago because I was uncomfortable with the secondary and option defense issues. I picked up 11 used for 5 bucks and I'm having a ton of fun with it. Yeah the passing isn't as controllable as it is in 13, but for the most part, everything is working well, and I haven't had any WTF issues yet. Then again, this is the first year I got into NCAA since the the 09 version."We were expecting a miracle with Elite, but instead we got Jesus at halfcourt."

Wide open offense/lack of defense ruined '11. '12 was a pretty solid game, but it was really screwed up after the tuner viruses. '13 is the best game on the next gen consoles to date.
Defense is still too hard to come by.... Too many BS big plays happen.Comment

NCAA 2012 is the game I still play more than any other game. Built up EMU into a dynasty out of the MAC. Switched the SEC with all of the Sun Belt to make things interesting. Michigan Wolverines have won 2 of the last 3 National Championships with EMU winning the one in between. I was in the Rose Bowl the other two years as the #3 team in the country. I think I have won 57 games in a row or something like that.
Granted I have a maxed out option QB basically. He is so fast and able to break a big play every time he has the ball. It's fun just playing around after building a team up to dominance I feel. Really fun in a weak conference too. May move EMU to the SEC and bring in the best teams in the country to compete against soon.Fan of... I never stopped playing '11. Currently in year 26 of my Tennessee dynasty and still loving it. Some of the things they've done to make dynasty deeper in the newer versions are intriguing but I'm going to wait for the new engine.
